Dr. Mark's interest in dentistry began during his four years of service in the US Navy as a dental technician/assistant. He then went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1976, practiced in Michigan, and opened his own practice on Hammond Street, Bangor in 1979.
Dr. Mark says his most exciting challenge is to stay on top of the ever-growing knowledge-base and technological advancements in dentistry. His greatest reward? The opportunity to use these advancements to benefit the people who come to see him.
He and wife Janet enjoy visiting daughter Cady, son-in-law Mark, and granddaughter Mira in Arizona. His leisure interests include travel, music, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and sailing with Lucerne in Maine Yacht Racing Union.
Dr.Mark is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, and the Penobscot Valley Dental Society.
