Dr. Mark Samuel Eich, MD

Took my daughter to be seen for peeling on her feet and discoloration and red bumps on her body. The doctor never ran tests, to see what it could be. He barely looked at her feet and never acknowledged her bumps. He said she could have athletes foot, but then proceeded to ask if she’s in socks and shoes often. I said no, and he said then it’s unlikely she has athletes foot but prescribed the fungal cream anyway. I asked about her bumps and he said he could tell me what it isn’t but he can’t tell me what it is. Mind you, he never ran any tests. I left with unanswered questions and a misdiagnosis. I left and went to women’s and children’s and the doctor diagnosed her within 20 sec of evaluating her and turns out her feet was a severe case of eczema and her bumps were a viral rash. Very disappointed in this doctor, and will not see him again.

I went to the ER for chest pain, pain in left arm, heart palpitation, light headed and dizzy. He was brisk and efficient but came back after tests and to tell me "they concluded that I am faking" and he didn't know what could be wrong with me. I was in pain and distress and had sat in the parking lot trying to talk myself into going in only to get humiliated by this doctor. To be told that I'm here basically for attention because they've concluded that I'm faking it was very hurtful. I was happy to hear that he couldn't find anything wrong but I thought that comment was uncalled for and very unprofessional in my opinion.
