After growing up in Silver Spring, Dr. Eisenberg attended the University of Maryland at College Park where he earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology. He went on to the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1983. Dr. Eisenberg then completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Eisenberg is the founder of Southgate Dental Care and for the past 27 years, he and his team have provided Glen Burnie and surrounding communities with comprehensive general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry for strong, healthy smiles. Dr. Eisenberg has also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Dentistry.
Dr. Eisenberg stays on the leading-edge of dentistry by regularly attending continuing education courses and professionally organized meetings. He has earned the …prestigious Fellowship Award with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), which recognizes over 500 hours of advanced education courses among many other requirements. He also maintains membership with the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and the Southern Maryland Dental Society.
Dr. Eisenberg met his wife, Eileen, in college. They're proud parents of twins, Sara and Brad. Both graduates of the University of Maryland, College Park, Sara is currently working on her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Brad has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, does consulting in energy technologies, and is founder and co-owner of weBike, LLC. Aside from dentistry and family events, Dr. Eisenberg enjoys relaxing with a round of golf and capturing unique photographs.
