Dr. Mark Donald Engelstad, MD

I have been a patient for five years. Dr. Engelstad is a most trusted expert in medicine. As important, he is a compassionate and caring provider. I am very thankful to have been referred to him.

I love Dr. Engelstad he has been my dr. for around 15 years and I would not change it. I have had to change him as my dr. for insurance at one point, but switched jobs with an insurance that I could get back to seeing him as my dr. He is a wonderful man, caring, kind, understanding, a great listener and always concerned about what you have to say and think.

Love his work standards but he should run his buisness and stop seeing so many Patients. Great growth at partners in health.

A doctor whose keen observational skills and experience with complexity have culminated in rare and valuable talent. I entered Dr. Engelstadt’s care after locating to America from a life spent in Canada and Asia. I require substantial medical care as a trigeminal neuralgia patient with a trauma background. My past experiences, (some positive, many negative), led me to become a health columnist. Throughout my years in the field as both a patient and journalistic observer, I’ve yet to encounter a physician as gifted as Dr E is with the management of complex patients. He is efficient without being cold, reassuring but responsible, thorough despite his full schedule, and I’m supremely impressed by him. I strongly recommend him to those who feel “impossible to understand” by physicians, exhausted by past failures, or overwhelmed by their conditions. He’s an exceptional professional. It took some trial and error to find him, but I’m grateful I did.

He gives you the time you need. He really cares.

I am very sad it seems this office has gotten too busy over the years and I no longer feel the care or time is given like they use to. I have waited an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor almost every visit and see him for maybe 15 mins. The staff has become rude and not called in my prescriptions the last 2 times I was in. When I called office for info on why my prescriptions weren't called and when to know they will actually be sent, I got a lot of attitude and that I'll need to call my pharmacy to make sure they were sent and ready.

Beware! I saw him for years and did not find out until I went to the Hospital the next day that I was misdiagnosed. I almost died. The whole time I had sleep apnea and my oxygen was in th 60's. He also kept telling me it was my eating habits, turned out that I was retaining water due to the apnea and right side heart failure. I lost over 50 pounds of water weight in 5 days at the Hospital. The staff is extremely rude. When you call and leave a msg for the doctor many times it will get lost. Please go to a Doctor who will honestly care about you!

Great doctor to see. He is very profesional and gives you the time you need to talk to him. He gives accurate diagnosis and helps to make you feel well soon.

No Doctor is better than they are .
