I was very impresssed from the first moment that I met Dr. Eskandari . He had a very down to earth personality that instantly puts you at ease. He took the time to explain my carotid artery cadaver implant surgery that he was proposing, and listened to all of my questions, and answered them in a way that a person without a medical background could easily understand. He is very approachable, and highly respected by others at Northwestern. I was eating lunch in the building after my appointment, and was chatting with a nurse who was sitting at the next table. She said he is so nice to all of the staff in the hospital, and doesn’t let his position go to his head like others. They surgery went beautifully, and I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have him for a surgeon. A truly amazing Doctor, and a down to earth kind person. Thank you Doctor Eskandari !! I happened upon Dr. Eskandari when he was involved in a clinical trial that interested me. What a wonderful find! Not only is he an excellent vascular surgeon/teacher but he's also a compassionate communicator who really listens to his patients. I won't see anyone else and neither should you.

Dr. Eskandari, at all visits, took the time to clearly and visually explain my present condition, changes, and options for treatment. With all the demand as Chief of Vascular Surgery, I believe it is unusual to have such a gift of ease and kindness with his patients. Dr. Eskandari never left a visit until all my questions were answered. I am recovering well from an extensive procedure and feel very blessed to have such a skilled surgeon.

Very competent. Warm. Really knows what he is doing. Up to the challenge of a difficult surgery. Wont have to, but would go to him again. Recovering nicely as he said I would.

Dr. Eskandari is a very knowledgable, professional yet compassionate doctor who takes the time to really listen and understand the patient's condition and overall health issues. He laid out my mother's surgey options, and his advice was spot-on. His team is one of the finest we have ever dealt with- from surgery staff, fellows, residents, floor nurses and therapy professionals.
