Dr. Mark D Fetter, MD

If you have a boil on your rear end or a wart on your foot, Mark Fetter is your boy. His skilled incisions resemble a jagged edged blade, like a serrated bread knife or your favorite electric turkey knife, and his suture skill is something out of Tim Burton's movie, Halloween. My dog's orthopedic surgeon's closure of her leg was far superior to Fetter's closure of the incisions on my face. As a result, I'm headed for revision surgery a year down the road. In the meantime, I found a thick foundation, I call my face putty, that I use to 'spackle' the cracks above and below my eyes to cover his mess. I have a gash above my left eye he didn't even bother to suture, so that's a challenge, but I'm getting better with my putty. If you call to ask questions, you are branded as being 'difficult' and told everything is 'normal' even though you know it isn't. I would not send my worst enemy to this man, so please do not subject yourself to his incompetence. His patient care is… nonexistent. Once you're cut, you're done. Stitch removal is brutal. On the lower, all my eyelashes were cut off. On the upper, I still have sutures coming out where I was told they would dissolve. On my last visit, Fetter yanked out an upper stitch, (I'm four months out), cut it off and it retracted back into my eyelid. That night, my eye swelled shut. I never went back. I have never written a bad review for a doctor, but people need to know my experience so they don't live the same nightmare. I wish I could include pictures because they would scare everyone.

Keep looking. Went in for eye lid lift I had gut reservations from the beginning. I honestly never met a more arrogant Physician. Didn’t explain procedure, gave vague answers. The office staff was friendly but incompetent. The afternoon before my surgery was scheduled, I called to verify. The nurse said “ oh I’m so glad you called, we haven’t received Medicare approval “. Really? And just when we’re you going to tell me ? I cancelled and went to Scottsdale area. Best choice I made. Think I dodged a bullet So thankful I kept looking Follow your intuition with this one. So glad I did

Took my elderly father in for surgery on both hands. The staff was so caring and attentive. Dr. Fetter was not only one of the most handsome doctors I have ever seen, but he erased every fear and concern my father had in a matter of minutes. Surgery was flawless. Results were impeccable. Couldn’t be happier. I ended up scheduling a procedure for myself before all was said and done. This guy is the real deal!

I had nothing but problems after my dual hand surgery. I'm about to have another surgery to correct his mistakes. Very cold and uncaring man. I have not been able to work and have had pain and loss of the use of my hands due to his poor care and failed surgery

What was suppose to be a easy MOHS procedure on my lip turned out to be a major disfigurement of my face. 2 of the 3 incision lines turned out well but the suture line running from my nose to my lip is huge and many people ask if I had a cleft lip repair. I never had a cleft lip - I had a normal looking face. Now that's what everyone looks at. As a retired RN, I know what a normal, well healing suture line should look like, mine wasn't. I even made an extra appt to have it checked again and he blew me off with "It's fine". I felt the nurse had removed the sutures on a very swollen area and had not re-enforced the suture line with steri-strips or anything. They never mentioned to apply cold compress to decrease swellling, etc. When I went back for my last post-op visit, I asked him, "How would you like to walk around with this on your face for the rest of your life?' He replied, "I think you have lost perspective, honey". Which left me feeling like somehow it was my fault for not… being pleased with the horrible results. This conversation was witnessed.

He didn't read mt chart, time management sucks, Lousy job and dismissed me without completing reconstruction. He said something different at different times - contradicted himself. His staff pretty nice.

Great results very natural look, I like that everyone was realistic as to what could possibly go wrong with having a breast aug surgery.
