Dr. Mark Dee Fiedler, MD

I came across this site looking for information on Dr. Fiedler to give a friend. I have been operated on twice by Dr. Fiedler. The first time was for an umbilical hernia. It had been repaired twice before by two different military surgeons (I'm retired USAF), and had opened up again each time after the healing period. That motivated me to leave the military health care system and find a civilian doctor. He referred me to Dr. Fiedler for this procedure. That was about eight years ago, and everything has held together fine. My second encounter was for an appendectomy. I developed symptoms at work and drove myself to the hospital. They confirmed the self-diagnosis and admitted me. When the surgeon on call showed up it was Dr. Fiedler and I knew I was in good hands. We joked a bit beforehand and then he went to work. Again, everything went fine. I saw the previous comment about his bedside manner. While he may not be jovial on the outside, I was more interested in… finding a competent surgeon than a new best friend. His work speaks for itself, and I would feel confident should I need his services again.

Dr Fiedler is a GREAT Surgeon! He took his time to explain to me EVERY Thing. I had my gall baller out and was up and around the very next day with very little pain. I have not felt this good in years!
