Dr. Mark Donald Fischer, MD

No one gave us any discharge information or directives relative to the care of the shoulder/arm/elbows and back muscles that could be negatively affected by two broken wrists during the five week recovery time. Especially for an elderly individual. Several days after getting new casts I experienced great pain and immobility of my left shoulder and arm. Some information on how to keep these muscles mobile would have been helpful

Dr Fischer is dilligent and professional all the time. He has really helped my with both of my hands. I can always count on him. Just wish he wasn't so busy

I previously had surgery on my pinky finger at park Nicollet with less than stellar results. Dr Fischer corrected not only the tremendous scar left by the previous dr but fixed a trigger finger at the same time. My recovery was rapid due to the outstanding surgery techniques and spectacular therapists in the Maple Grove Office

I went to see Dr Fisher to a tendon worked on in my right wrist in 2013. He did the surgery only to admit 15 days later when the stitches came out that he had not fixed the problem so I had to go through another surgery. Since then I have had two more surgeries on that wrist with another one coming soon. His excuse, "oh I made a mistake and did not fix the tendon". NOot much of an excuse.

Won't go back to him! Poor results from my hand surgery - still have numbness and tingling after nearly a year. Plus, my hand now looks deformed!

Dr. Fischer is a wonderful, caring, compassionate dr! Went as far as calling me after a surgery personally to make sure I was recovering well! Would highly recommend him. Office visits can be a little long but well worth the wait!

I ruptured my patellar tendon while on vacation in Minnesota and was fortunate to have Dr. Fischer do the surgical repair within about 5 hours of the injury. He was VERY calming, informative, and straight forward about the surgery itself and what I could expect during my recovery. I cannot sing his praises enough. He's a great doctor and seems to really care about his patients. THANK YOU Dr. Fischer!
