Dr. Mark Alan Folmsbee, DO

I went to see Dr. Flomsbee for a follow-up after a lengthy stay in the hospital and a life-saving major surgery just four. days prior to my appointment. I was suffering from complications of my condition which was not only excruciating but also made it impossible for me to eat or drink. I came to my appointment prepared with my paperwork from the hospital (which he refused to look at) and anticipating treatment for the condition from which I was suffering. He not only refused to look at my paperwork but he also refused to address the condition clearly causing my agony, instead telling me to come back the following day so he could draw my blood. I was given an appointment three weeks later to follow up on my test results. I left his office wondering why I had even bothered, and knowing I would never again step into the office of this so called doctor who allowed me to leave his office without an inkling of a solution to my condition. I later received a bill for $250 for an appointment… that proved only to make me long for the old days when doctors cared about their patients more than they cared about getting paid for another office visit. Dr. Flomsbee exhibited a complete and total lack of empathy for my situation and I would not call him "my doctor" if he were the last doctor left standing. He failed to offer me treatment while I was in his office so I am not sure why I am expected to pay for his lack of service. Had he taken a minute to draw blood while I was there I might have felt he was justified in billing me for an office visit. However, I am feeling that money might be better spent consulting a malpractice lawyer.If you want a doctor that cares this is not your guy.
