Dr. Mark Robert Forrest, MD

Impossible to get a hold of - I had required follow ups after my appointment. They requested that I call before showing up. I've been calling for over 2 months and I've never had anyone answer the phone. I ended up just showing up. I voiced my displeasure and they claimed to have phone problems. Did it again for my 2nd follow up.....called and called and called for over a week. No answers so I just showed up again.

Dr. Forrest has been courteous, honest, and has explained his observations and diagnosis in a manner that ensures my understanding of his next steps. He makes me feel confidence in his diagnosis and practice.

Very strongly adheres to the Hippocratic Oath.

I have dealt with this Dr. twice. One for a non emergency visit, which after words I told my wife I would never see him again. Second was for an emergency surgery where I was told he was my only choice. This man has no compassion, he took a phone call while discussing my emergency surgery where he proceeded to line up a golf game while I waited in pain. The non emergency visit lasted 5 minutes and I was told that I needed to deal with the pain I was having. It later turned out to be an infection that was diagnosed at Urgent Care. There is a fine Urologist at Mercy Hospital. Dont fall for the "he is the best" or "he is your only choice" that is so often repeated. On top of that, their billing is a nightmare!

I have dealt with Dr. Forrest and his staff twice a year for the past 6 years. Getting an appointment is not easy because of how busy the office is. On one of the visits there was a mistake in getting pre-authorization with insurance, but the office corrected the situation at their expense. I have nothing but good to say, and if it was not for the Diagnosis capabilities of Dr. Forrest I might not be able to write this review. Thanks

I agree that the receptionist (Ashley) here is not good! Switched doctors so I would not have to deal with the rudeness! It is funny that when I told my family physician about the problems I was having here, they knew exactly who I was talking about and we don't even live in the same town! I guess it goes to show that you really do catch more bees with honey and people remember and tell others when they have been treated badly!

Great Doctor! Horrible receptionist ! Scheduling was impossible, she was so rude! Thinking about switching doctors just because of the secretary!

Not a very good experience. Wouldn't recommend. No compassion.
