Hahahaha! Not surprised at ALL by any of these reviews.. Don’t worry all you wonderful people who got stick with him as a doctor .. his overwhelming arrogance and expensive suits will land him in a miserable place .. Mark Gabe, sitting up on that high horse getting older and older treating people lesser than you .. This read made my whole year! And I’m a bigger millionaire than you! Just nicer

As all the reviews mentioned, Dr. Gabr is a horrible listener, he doesn't care about the well being of his patients, he doesn't even bother to give them a minute of his time to listen to their concerns, instead he just walks in the examination room, and right back out. During the last visit I had with him, I had asked him a very concerning question that I had and he answered me with "ok great", so it occurred to me that he wasn't listening to a word I was saying. He thinks he's better than everyone, you can smell his ego from a mile away, and he is very disrespectful! All my friends and family know how much I despise him. I ran into him once at the mall with my son, and he didn't even recognize me even though I've been a patient with him for over 10 years! I was furious, not only do you treat your patients like crap, but you don't even have the decency to remember their faces?

Maybe it's time to retire. I experienced the same treatment as each of the previous reviewers. I did manage to get him to answer a couple generic questions, but, then, out the door he went. Have transitioned care to another doc.

It's been a couple years since I last saw Dr. Gabr, but I'll never forget that visit. I'd been seeing Dr Gabr for sleep apnea. On a follow-up visit, he came in and said that I was sleeping much better and feeling much more rested. I said "I don't agree with that statement". He simply looked at me, got up without saying another word and walked out of the examination room never to return. Bewildered, after 40 more minutes, I got up and left myself. Also never to return.

I had seen Dr. Gabr for a couple of years. His office staff is the worst, I think because of his behavior. He was all ways after my about my weight, I have battled my whole life. After I had GB he was all most nice. He wrote off all that I owed ater insurance, (it was a lot)and gave me a bunch of items. I had a Dr.tell me that Dr Gabr is one of those Dr.s that should not be a Dr. Look some place else, this man needs to do something else.

I support a patient of his who has severe apnea and has autism. This person has behaviors that often impede compliance and has severe headaches. Dr. Gabr was not even in the room 2 minutes before he left and said see you in 6 months, keep up the good work. He did not listen, he was not patient, he was arrogant and hurriedly left the room. I am a very assertive person. How can you be assertive with a person who walks away while you are talking and goes into his office? I have recommended to the family that they get a second opinion from a doctor who will work to get to the bottom of the headaches and a possible link to behaviors due to low oxygen while sleeping without CPAP. I guess he won't be seeing his patient in 6 months!

Very rude office staff

Gabr is the rudest doc I've ever encountered. I knew I had sleep apnea, yet he refused to grant me a sleep study. After my 10 min. of insisting that I wouldn't leave his office without an appt. for the study, he gave in, and fairly shoved the paperwork at me.Results of the study? I stopped breathing 90 times an hour. At the follow-up, he said I had extreme sleep apnea. I reminded him how I had to practically BEG for the sleep study, and he applogized and asked if I'd be able to continue as his patient. I said yes, if he'd promise not to treat another woman as he had me. "Not every woman will be as assertive in asking for the test she knows she needs," I said. He promised to keep that in mind.A year later when my friend went to see him about restless leg syndrome, he bullied her just as he did me, and she did not get the sleep study she needed because she was afraid to confront "A Doctor." I never went back to him. Obviously, you can't teach a macho man to be a compassionate… doctor.
