My mom had the worst experience with Mark Gallardo. Not only was he incredibly rude and disinterested, he provided outrageous medical advice to boot. Never before had we experienced a more unprofessional and disrespectful doctor. He also recommended eye surgery that was in no way necessary. Please do yourself a favor and avoid him!

After cataract surgery on both eyes I have no been seen by Dr Gallardo. Was told by office manager he only does surgeries and sees critically ill patientsonly because of the THOUSANDS of patients they see. Zero care practice. Avoid this assembly line surgical disaster

I was referred to Dr. Gallardo by Dr. Michael Foote. He sent me to him because I have glaucoma in both eyes. I was very nervous to see him at first but Dr. Gallardo reassured me that he would help me with my glaucoma. He made me feel so at ease. He has great bedside manner too. He is very courteous & considerate everytime I have visited him. He did surgery on both eyes for glaucoma Bauerveldt Implant my right eye & Tracbectomy in my left eye. He also remove cataracts on both eyes. I no longer use my glasses except for reading. He also gave me a new prescription for new glasses. He is an excellent dr & surgeon who I'd highly recommend. His staff is excellent too. I never have any problems with dr's visits or appointments as they are very professional & courteous to me. Thanks again Dr. Mark Gallardo you're a God sent for improving my vision.

Only saw him once. He scheduled cataract surgeries. Never took time to speak to me about complications or procedure. Surgeries performed by another young doctor in the office. Large abrasion in one eye and color distortion. All about how many surgeries can we do. Eight months later still in severe pain. Take your time if you are considering surgery in this practice.

Dr Gallardo and his staff were excellent! I moved from California where all the "best doctors" are and expected to be disappointed, however I was so pleasantly surprised. His staff is professional and knowledgeable, Dr Gallardo explained in detail my condition and was very compassionate.

Doctor Gallardo gave my mother life back.. she was almost blind due to her having Glaucoma, and all Doctors in Las Cruces, NM pretty much gave up on her because of her age (87). However, Dr. Gallardo not only gave me hope but also gave life back to my mom and return her vision back... Dr. Gallardo is now coming to Las Cruces twice a week at Dr. Shelly's Office. The community of Las Cruces NM need a Doctor like Dr. Gallardo...Thank You Dr. Gallardo for taking the time to come to us...

He was the nicest, most compassionate doctor I have ever dealt with. If you have the opportunity to work with him, take it. He went above and beyond his responsibility as a doctor. The world is a better place for having him in it.

Heard he was a very good doctor, but he addressed me in a very demeaning manner when his diagnosis was questioned.

I can't thank Dr. Gallardo enough for the help he provided my grandmother. My grandmother had a very painful form of diabetic glaucoma that our eye doctor diagnosed and despite it being a Saturday Dr. Gallardo accepted us as new patients and immediately accepted her. She had lost her vision earlier that week and Dr. Gallardo performed emergency surgery on her and her pain resolved and her vision improved. He was the nicest and most caring young man! Highly recommend him!

Dr Gallardo is very through and has an excellent patient manner. I am very pleased with the care I recieve from him and his staff
