My wife and I were visiting in NY from Texas. I took a fall down a flight of stairs and in the process broke my ankle to the extent that my foot was facing the opposite direction. I don't like to look at that photo. The fibula below the ankle and below the knee were also broken. I was transported to Arnot Ogden from the site of the accident. Dr. Gibson was there to meet me as were others that I can barely remember given my condition. In a matter of a few hours, Dr. Gibson and his team had reset my ankle and performed surgery to insert three screws to stabilize it. I spent the night in the hospital and was discharged the next day. Dr. Gibson thoroughly explained to my wife and me what had happened, what was going to happen, and what needed to be done once we returned home. I was completely confident in what happening and with Dr. Gibson. I will also say that Arnot Ogden, staff, Dr. Gibson and all medical staff provided the best care that I have ever had at any facility anywhere… in this country. My wife and I were grateful and appreciative of all that everyone did. Thank you Dr. Gibson and than you staff of Arnot Ogen, Elmira, NY. Michael

Could not say enough good things about Dr Gibson, he has been treating me for 13-15 yrs...we have gone through a lot together. Lately I have been having issues and it does not seem to go away for am extended period of time. My quality of life has more or less lost its ability. So when I visit a Dr..(which I along with most of the population does not welcome it)..I would assume to be taking seriously, I have not felt that way. There is something wrong I say it over and over but I do feel like they are looking right through me.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gibson. he operated on both of my knees {one 29 years ago} and did a fabulous job. Since then I ski, play drums,have played tennis,,body surf, I have enjoyed a active life,and both of my knees held up. I would encourage anyone who need such surgery,to seek out Dr. Gibson.

Dr. Gibson is highly capable and also has the most wonderful bedside manner. Never seems hurried in spite of a waiting room full of patients. His expertise can be trusted. His personality is friendly and caring. I wish there were more doctors like him !!
