Dr. Mark Allen Goodson, MD

I was referred to Dr Goodson because of severe back pain MRI and x-rays confirmed problem. Dr Goodson performed a pain management procedure on my back. He walked me thru whole process and kept me informed. Almost painless.. I FEEL GREAT! Thank you

Dr. Goodson is a very knowledgeable Dr and cares about his patients. His office staff are amazing, they are friendly and helpful.. I needed an authorization for for my medication and called the office at 4:50 on a Friday afternoon and they took care of it for me without any problems. Most offices would tell you they would work on it Monday morning when they reopen. I would highly recommend Dr. Goodson for pain management.

I have been seeing Dr. Goodson for a number of years. He has cared for my pain and adjusted treatment according to my varying needs. He and his staff have always been professional and courteous. Very low waiting time. If you are looking for someone to give you meds to “party” on, I would look elsewhere. If you want to be treated to where you can be functional and enjoy life, then I would recommend Dr. Goodson.

He does not care about you. He talks to you like you’re an idiot. He is condescending and nasty. I won’t waste my time returning.

Dr. Goodwin is great. He is very knowledgeable , professional and caring. I would highly recommend him.

I think the office is run well and the staff courteous. The problem is that if the regimen he develops for you doesn't produce results i.e. Pain reduction) , then he drops you like a hot potato without any explanation, cause, or direction. In my view it is tantamount to medical abandonment. You are now back to where you started only hundreds of dollars lighter in your wallet. Where's the compassion for patients experiencing chronic pain?

I have been going to doctors for 30 years due to my disability. I work 60 + hours a week and do my part in contribution to Society. I have been going to an amazing pain Doctor back home and recently moved here and started seeing Goodson. I will not put a DR. In front of his name because he is NOT one. A real doctor listens to their patient and helps them but this guy doesn't! I'm assuming he just likes his paycheck and his title. At my previous pain Doctor it took me 3 months to get on the correct medications so I could continue to work hard at my jobs and balance life. I have now moved here and go to this guy who switches everything on me and cause me to miss work and put my job and health benefits on the line. I tried to explain this to him and he brushed it off and stated he would not continue my regamin because he doesn't believe in short acting medicine and my previous routine that worked for me for 3 years. He insisted on putting me on a medication that made me a zombie and… extremely sick coasting me to miss work. I tried to tell him I could literally aford to do that and he interrupted me and said he only believed in long acting medicine only and I could go somewhere else. So I did and I get everything I need to continue what my amazing Doctor back home set me up on! There's nothing good about Goodson. He doesn't listen the the patient needs. Everyone is different and he could care less!
