Dr. Mark S. Gordon fell in love with medicine as a young boy, enjoying going to the doctor as a child - a memory that eventually led him into the profession of medicine. His love of teamwork and working with people focused him into the specialty of physiatry, where he treats the whole person for medical rehabilitation. Dr. Gordon enjoys helping patients re-learn life-skills after a life-changing injury, working together with the patient, family members and therapists to achieve this goal. He also focuses on ensuring the patient is fully aware of his/her body's condition, in order to lead the fullest life possible.
Dr. Gordon received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine, interned in psychiatry at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
