Dr. Mark J Hanna, DO

Had a horrific migraine come on for three days only intensified...soon As I got to Novant they got me back.....Dr Hanna jumped right in giving me a spinal tap and medication to knock my migraine down. I have never been treated so caring before. And the sad thing was I went to NHRMC the day before and couldn’t even get fluids cause I have done nothing but throwing up with it. Thank u thank u so much for the Professionalism thst you and ur staff gave. AWESOME!! Highly recommended!

I went to see Dr. Hanna at Novant Medical Hospital In Supply N.C.. Dr. Hanna came into my room and asked for my patient history. As I was telling him my background information, he proceeds to the door without getting all of my information. I continue to try and give him my history as he proceeds out of the door and I have to speak louder so that he can hear me now with one of his feet out of the door and then he leaves. The guy is in just too big of a hurry with from what I can tell with not that many patients to see. That of course made his treatment questionable and not the best course of action, and I had to suffer due to this. He was also very rude in the way he talked. I would not recommend this guy to any patient to see.

I saw Dr. Hanna recently at the emergency room. He was very professional and caring. I needed stitches inside and outside of my leg. He did an exceptional job repairing my leg. I could not have had a better doctor to look out for my needs. I thank God he was the doc that took care of me.

I saw this "doctor" in May at an E.R. He denied me a simple urine test which I requested and proceeded to accuse me of wanting drugs. He was arrogant and rude as they come AND HE WAS WRONG!!!!It was not a "pinched nerve" doc, it was a LIFE THREATENING Spinal abscesss! I almost died and as a result have serious damage to my body...I may never work again, drive or be normal again...Spent a month in rehab hosp to learn to walk again and face long term rehab at home...So, that's my experience with this "doctor"

Dr. Mark Hanna is unprofessional, rude, conceited, and, more importantly, WRONG. If you have an emergency and value your life, avoid the emergency room he works at. I've seen Dr. Hanna on several occasions since moving to this county three years ago and he's never professional, in fact, if you've ever had a prescription for pain medicine, he'll assume you're an addict. This morning I thought I was having a heart attack...after being hospitalized last week for chest pain, I thought it best to go to the ER and ask for help. Even though I NEVER asked for a prescription for pain medicine, Dr. Hanna told me he would not give me a prescription for pain medicine. (Keep in mind I thought I was dying and needed someone to help me.) He told me, without ordering any tests, that I was in denial about being addicted to pain medicine. It's my understanding that the emergency room physicians should see a patient based on what's happening at the time they come in. Aren't they supposed to TRY to… figure out what made a person come in for help? Help I didn't get. Dr. Hanna actually told me to my face that the hospital has done every test in their capability to do and my tests say nothing is wrong. (not true...my PCP has admitted me three times because I was so sick) If you have an emergency and value your life, avoid Dr. Hanna at all costs. I wouldn't let this guy treat my dog.
