Mark Traveller Hansen, MD

I am a registered nurse who needed gallbladder surgery and Dr Hansen was my obvious choice. I know from caring for post surgery patients that Dr Hansen gives excellent care after surgery which is more rare for a surgeon. He was able to do surgery the day following my consult because of some concerns I had with delaying surgery.

Mark and staff was great! He had some difficult news to tell me and showed great concern and helped me navigate to my next step in healing. The surgery he did healed very nicely with minimal evidence that it had ever happened. I would totally recommend Mark Hansen.

I was thrilled when I was in the Emergency room that Dr. Hansen was going to be my surgeon. I haven't ever heard anything about him other than he is one of the very best around. I was impressed how he explained everything prior to the surgery, what he was going to attempt to do, and if he was unable to do it, he would have to open me up. Dr. Hansen would come to my room every morning and every afternoon without fail. He is a very personal Dr. and a very personal man. My wife and I feel he is the answer we were looking for the night we ended up at the ER. We are very grateful he was the Dr. that did my surgery and highly recommend him to anyone that is in need of a Surgeon. I had a Dr. tell me that if him or any member of his family needed surgery he would be the surgeon he would go to. I'm grateful I got to have him. You won't be disappointed. Also, you will not find a better group of nurses and those who helped me recover than you will find at Cache Valley Hospital. They made things… as comfortable and were so personal with me and my Family. I had the best of everything. They treated like I was a king. Their bedside manner was outstanding, and they spent the time that I needed with me. Thanks goes out to Dr. Hansen and the staff at Cache Valley Hospital in Logan Utah.

I appreciate Dr. Hansen's accurate diagnosis. I was in emergency with an intestinal blockage. He swiftly assessed that it was caused by a hernia, scheduled surgery immediately, provided immediate relief, and saved me days of discomfort while waiting to see if it would heal itself.

I've had only one appointment, but I'm very impressed. Dr. Hansen took the time to explain the surgery, what to expect and how long it would take to heal. Dr. Hansen came highly recommended by a fellow doctor.

Dr Hansen has done many surgeries for many members of my family and most recently did my hysterectomy. He is amazing, so professional, kind and very caring! His office staff is great as well! They worked really hard with my insurance company to insure everything was taken care of and I did not have to worry about a thing! I recommend him to anyone!!!
