Dr. Mark Howard Hanson, DDS

Dr. Mark Hanson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison and attended the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry for his dental training. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He continued his training at Marquette University's Department of Orthodontics. After his orthodontic residency, Dr. Hanson and his wife moved to Green Bay in 2003.
Dr. Hanson maintains a commitment to lifelong education ensuring that his patients receive the newest orthodontic methods and technologies while preserving the hands on approach that his patients have come to expect. Fully Board Certified and a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, he is committed to providing the highest level of orthodontic care for his patients. 
In the Orthodontic Community
Dr. Hanson maintains active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, the …Midwest Society of Orthodontics, the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association. He has served as the President, Vice-president and Secretary of the Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Society and is a member of the internationally recognized Seattle Study Club as well as co-founder of the Wolverine multi-disciplinary Study Club.
Dr. Hanson has also written and published orthodontic research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and perennially is selected as one of the "Best Dentists in America in the Field of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics." He is currently on the Encompass Early Education and Care Board of Directors.
Outside the Office
Dr. Hanson was lucky enough to have married his high school sweetheart, Marisa. They've been blessed with two children, Evelyn and Larz. As time permits, they enjoy spending time as a family camping, fishing, and downhill skiing.
