Dr. Mark L. Heaney

My aunt was only briefly under Dr. Mark Heaney's care at Columbia University Medical Center in 2014. She was a leukemia patient, however, there was never an ounce of fear, just this ineffable device of compassion. He reached far and beyond his call of duty for an international patient that he had only known for about 1 month in the U.S. One day, I will tell God how well-pleased we were with him.

Dr. Heaney is compassionate and concerned. He goes out of his way to be helpful and available.

Dr. Mark Heaney is an expert oncologist just teeming with compassion. He can differentiate the undifferentiated patient with ease and is a gem to the blood cancer community.

Dr Heaney is an excellent dr and cares very much about his patients. When I was diagnosed with leukemia. The local oncologist made an appointment in 2 weeks (New York Oncology, Albany NY). I sent my records to Dr. Heaney (then at Memorial Slone Kettering) that same day. He made an appointment for me to see him the very next day.
