Dr. Heitner has really helped me. He's so responsive and really cares about his patients.

The monthly sessions and medication have helped me get my feet back under me and have helped me to see my options more clearly. He gives clear and actionable feedback. It is very important to Dr. Heitner to understand how you are feeling to and prescribe the appropriate medication. He then fine tunes the prescription for optimum results.

The best thing about Dr. Heitner is that he is so darn easy to talk to. I never feel as though he is judging me and he never makes me feel like it's all in my head. He is very interested in listening to what I have to say and working with me to resolve issues. I highly recommend Dr. Heitner to anyone who has a fear, as I did, of going to speak with a psychiatrist, this guy will make you feel at ease, welcome and like there is hope to "fix" your issues.

Dr. Heitner really cares about his patients and I felt comfortable with him from the very first appointment. I have been seeing him for over a year now, and would recommend him to friends and family which is not something that I do with most doctors.

I typically dread psychiatrists and especially finding a new one when I move. Between my personal experiences and my mom's experiences - the bad experiences definitely outweigh the good. So when I moved to the Bay Area where I do not have coworkers or friends to ask for referrals from, I was dreading finding a doctor. I called my insurance company and they sent me a list of participating doctors and that is how I found Dr. Mark. I have had nothing but a positive experience! He listens to what I have to say, we have worked through challenges with my medications and he is always quick to respond (by phone/email) when I have a question or concern. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asked.

Dr. Heitner helped me through a nasty spell of severe depression. He tellls it like it is, and knows what he is doing. A little over a year later, and thanks to his treatment and support, I'm depression-free and moving forward. I'd highly recommend him to anyone.
