Mark F. Hendrickson, MD, is Section Head of Hand Surgery, as well as a Staff Member in the Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hendrickson earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed an internship and residency in General Surgery at Tulane University Hospital and Clinics in New Orleans, LA., was a Research Fellow in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, a second year Fellow in Maxillofacial Surgery at MIEMS Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, a resident in Craniofacial and Microvascular Surgery, also at MIEMS Shock Trauma Center, and a Fellow in Hand Surgery at the Curtis Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. His specialty interests include facial plastic and cosmetic surgery, including face lift (rhytidectomy), neck and forehead lift, body contouring, cosmetic injectable fillers, fat injections, Botox(r) and breast reduction surgery. He is certified by the American …Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hendrickson is a member of several medical societies, including the Academy of Medicine, the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, among others. He has published a number of articles on various topics relating to emergency medicine and reconstructive surgery. He has received a number of awards and honors, including being named Ohio Surgeon of the Year by the Ohio Association of Occupational Therapy.

After suffering for many years with trigger fingers and many cortisone injections, I was referred to Dr. Hendrickson. That was the BEST decision I decided to make! He's an amazing doctor/surgeon that discussed a plan of action to correct my problem. I was shocked and saddened to find out that he's no longer with the Cleveland Clinic! I wish him all the best and THANK HIM for service rendered!

Decided that surgery should be done and then just nothing. I had to go see another provider to schedule surgery again. I think this is a hit or miss kind of thing. If you are having emergency surgery, then he will probably return your call. If it is elective and can wait, your mileage may vary.

I was consulted in an open room with other patients, he didn't even try to hear my concerns, just told me he doesn't do shots or surgery for my arthritic hands, that I would have to learn to not use my thumbs. Then passed me off to OT who put me in splints that caused mote pain than they helped. The office staff was rude. Needless to say I cancelled my return appointments.

Dr. Hendrickson helped me with a problem in my wrist. A very competent surgeon, kind-hearted and caring. His surgical staff at the CCF main campus is equally as wonderful, and I am so grateful that he fixed my wrist! I would recommend him in a heart beat!

He did a carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand 15 years ago and I am still pain free. The scar is so tiny you cannot even see it. I found him to be very knowledgable, caring with a great bedside manner. I was expecting to be a large and long scar and he came up with a procedure that worked better for me with barely a scar and still painfree!!! I have recommended him to every one I know that has needed hand or wrist surgery. I may need the left done soon and I will definately use him again.

I went to him for second opinion. He is very decisive and confident. He has what you look for in a good doctor: accurate diagnose, good skill, caring, and responsible.
