Dr. Mark Christopher Hines, MD

My husband highly recommended Dr. Hines, and now I know why. He listens well, explains well and treats accordingly! Because of that, - I am getting pain relief in a short period of time. His staff is very personable and responsive, as well! I highly recommend!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Hines for over a year now. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain in plain language and offers a verity of treatment options. I am very lucky to have found this Dr. and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hines was the best orthopedic doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and being under his care I always felt safe. He was honest and totally transparent in all his opinions and diagnosis and I would recommend him to anyone. I unfortunately moved out of state and am no longer under his care... but suffice to say if I had to I would travel to North Carolina to be under his care without a second thought. MCG

I've only seen Dr Hines a few times so far, but he is the very best pain management doctor I've seen across 4 different states I have lived in. He spends the time with me that I need and explains what is happening. He is 100% transparent so far, I'd highly recommend him.

I give this doctor 10 for knowledge and 0 for caring and compassion. Unfortunately most doctors nowadays are missing these two essential qualities. Not sure how my previous review disappeared.

I used him for help with pain in my shoulder ,using his prolific therapy technique I'm almost pain free ..ya ya..

HAD BEEN SEEING DR. HINES FOR QUITE SOME TIME. REALLY LIKED THE GUY. I THOUGHT HE WAS MAKING PROGRESS WITH MY BACK. OUT OF THE BLUE, I GET A DISCHARGE LETTER. NO REASON AT ALL. AND I DO MEAN "NO" REASON AT ALL. I DID NOT KNOW THERE WAS A PROBLEM. NO , DID NOT OWN HIM ANY MONEY. I WAS LATE ONE TIME BY 5 MINUTES. GOT STUCK BY A TRAIN. MAYBE THAT WAS IT. I WAS NOT LATE FOR ANY OF THE OTHER VISITS AND THERE WERE MANY. HIS "OFFICE MANAGER" TOLD ME IT WAS TO SAVE ME "GAS MONEY." I SEE TWO OTHER DOCTORS VERY CLOSE TO HIS OFFICE. HE KNEW THIS TOO. AT THE TIME, I DID NOT KNOW THAT ONCE YOU GET DISCHARGED BY A "PAIN" DOCTOR, THAT EVERY OTHER DOCTOR "ASSUMES" IT WAS BECAUSE OF "DRUG ABUSE". THEY WON'T LISTEN TO ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY. I AM 64 YEARS OLD. I HAVE A BAD BACK. I WISH I DIDN'T TAKE ANY PAIN MEDICATION. I HAVE NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE EVER ABUSED A DRUG. HE DID A URINE DRUG SCREEN EVERY SINGLE TIME I CAME IN. THEY WAS ALWAYS AND I MEANS ALWAYS CLEAN. BUT HE REALLY SCREWED IT UP FOR… ME.

My extensive medical history required me to find a Dr. that could navigate my multiple symptoms and show me Compassion, Honesty and Inteligence for treating my condition by actually performing a head to toe exam including reflexes and then thoroughly discussing the findings and treatment options in layman's terms and actually dictating those results in a full medical report as you listen in the room with him. Resulting in No surprises when you pull a Medical report. After your very first visit with Dr. Hines, You will finally drive home feeling relaxed and relieved that your not as crazy as other Drs made you feel and you will quickly feel a sense of peace and freedom to concentrate on healing and rebuild the Dr/Patient relationship lost long ago within most of the Medical Community. I'm taking my time tonight to write and post My review about Dr. Hines and his office staff... So that tomorrow you can also have the opportunity to enjoy your ride home too.

Dr. Hines is the best pain specialist I have ever been. My wife was a patient of Dr. Hines for two years before we moved to another State. Dr. Hines always explained to us her condition and all the treatments available. He is a very experienced doctor that is really willing to help.

I've never seen a better Dr.He was knowledgeable compassionate friendly funny gentle when treating or doing a procedure and very excellent in skills as a Dr.I will never forget him and if I ever need a Dr due to injury again I'd travel from floor to north Carolina to see this Dr that's how awesome and helpful he was.He changed my life from a bedridden wheelchair bound person to an active independent person with way less pain and a quality life.Thank u Dr Hines.My prayers r with u always.
