Dr. Mark Richard Hoffman, MD

Dr. Hoffman performed my hysterectomy to remove three large fibroids. I saw several other doctors that would only remove them abdominally and he skillfully was able to remove them laparoscopically. He is an excellent surgeon and highly knowledgeable.

He mentioned an implanted device, to help me. Was contacted, and told something else had happened, and he couldn't see me. Also, I really don't think BLM items are a very good thing, in a business. I will not be going back.

Dr. Hoffman is my obgyn. He thoroughly explained solutions to my problems and we tried several. He listened to me and my concerns. He gave me options and let me pick what I wanted to try and was willing to go through. As my surgeon, he was great and his bedside manner was comforting. I appreciate his skill and abilities!

I came in after 2.5 years of endometriosis symptoms, but was willing to endure his curt bedside manner and general feeling that he would really rather be anywhere else. I was told endometrioma (cysts) wouldn't cause vaginal bleeding (I later learned this is outright incorrect) and was told if I didn't have pain with intercourse, it was highly unlikely to be endometriosis (also incorrect.) I was NEVER told that endometriosis can ONLY be diagnosed via surgery. I was never given any next step for my symptoms or years of infertility. I was told my issues were probably " a bowel." Yeah, a piece of poop. Thank you for your wisdom. Another doctor (NOT UK!!) advised the surgery. Guess who has endometriosis of the left ovary and back wall of uterus? Your girl with the so-called "bowel." Some men should not be OBGYNS. Please become further educated on this disease.
