Dr. Mark Allen Hoffman, MD

I saw Dr Hoffman many years ago for anemia. I had a “bulge” sticking out of my abdomen and he biopsied it. It was a huge mistake since it was an incarcerated hernia. My surgeon had a fit knowing he put a needle into it. I told him I had blood in my urine and he said I did not when I did in my doctors office and now I am at End Stage Renal Disease. I would not send a dog to him since he has no clue about diagnosing a patient properly!! He could have caused major damage with my incarcerated hernia and maybe I could have gotten proper care if my kidneys were diagnosed early.

I was under dr Hoffman’s care for 4 years. He is excellent; caring; and very thorough!! If any number was slightly off, he had to see why. He is the first and only doctor that would call to ask how was I doing/feeling following chemo. He truly cares about his patients!!

Dr. Hoffman, is a wonderful Doctor. He truly cares about his patients, always returns phone calls, and does everything to make sure cancer treatment is as stress free as possible. I thank God everyday for pointing me in the direction of this Doctors care, because with his knowledge he saved my life.

Dr. Hoffman gives a thorough physical exam and makes sure to ask and remind you about other tests you should be having. He gives feedback for the tests that were performed, and has a very good bedside manner.

I was a patient of Dr. Mark A. Hoffman since May 2016. I had breast cancer stage 1 had my two breast removed. Dr. Mark A. Hoffman send me for Chemo then Herceptive. Aug 2017 he advised me that no more treatment. I was in remission. At which time he advised me to come see him for blood work only every three months for two years and every six months for three years and once a year for five years. I changed doctors. When I met with the second doctor he advised me Dr. Mark A. Hoffman did not complete my treatment for the type of cancer I had. I needed to take a pill called Nerlynx for one year. This pill came after Herceptive. I was so upset I could not believe this. The second doctor advised me Dr. Mark A. Hoffman did not know that he needed to treat me with this pill. I will never recommend Dr. Mark A. Hoffman to any one. I am telling people my story so they will not see him. I have filed a complaint with the medical board. I pray nothing happens to me. I will enter one… star so I could submit my story because he does not deserve any stars.

Dr. Hoffman is one of the most caring doctors that I have ever met. He is very knowledgeable in his field and takes the time to explain the different options of treatment, giving you a chance to decide what route to take. He patiently listens and answers all your questions. He is always just a phone call away. The fact that he takes the time to return phone calls says a lot about him and is greatly appreciated.

First rate physician......he cares about his patients. I refer potential patients to him as often as possible.

Excellent bed side manners. Easy to talk to and always listens to your complaints and puts you at ease, never rushing. His staff is also very courteous and helpful.
