Dr. Mark Alan Hosley, MD

Dr. Mark Hosley calls himself a doctor, he never should have been given that right as he is mean, abusive, frightening, unjustly judgemental and cruel with patients who come to him with serious medical problems who are seeking real help for painful&disabling conditions. At my first appointment he looked at my MRI's and told me how damaged my back is and that it's understandable how I could be in the agony I expressed to him, I thought my care would be in the hands of a helpful&competent physician who would appropriately manage my condition but I was so incredibly wrong which I discovered at my 2nd appointment at which he caused me severe emotional&physical harm. Due to significant medical problems which have caused damage to my vision I am very sensitive to natural&artificial light and also must further protect my remaining sight, I require the use of dark shades over my regular lenses. While I waited in waiting area Dr.Hosley was seen&overheard mocking me with his coworkers at… desk behind window, I tried to ignore this egregious behavior although it was difficult. When he walked into exam room he suddenly had on black dark sunglasses and a strange smirk on his face, he also violated my privacy rights by initially bringing another patient in with him to berate&insult me in front of her and then when I was alone with him for my appointment he continued his bizarre, unwarranted completely abusive treatment towards me. He grabbed my legs one after the other and forcefully pulled&pushed them up and down hurting me, then he grabbed me by my arms one after the other and pulled them up&down saying "see, you have no problems moving your arms", when in fact I already had terrible pain&weakness from significant damage, tears & arthritis in my shoulders confirmed by dye enhanced imaging. He then barely put stethoscope to my clothing at heart area and in condescending attitude said "your heart's fine", when in fact I have had invasive&noninvasive testing with diagnosed heart failure and require multiple medications for that. Due to all I was being forced to endure by him for no reason when I should have actually been shown some common kindness &compassion as a patient and human being I began crying and told him the appointment was over and that I'd be filing official complaint against him which would also include evidence obtained during visit documenting his outrageous & atrocious unprofessionalism and unprovoked & undeserved malice. I had never experienced anything like this from prior neurologist who I'd already undergone in depth testing with, he unfortunately retired which led me to being referred to this monster in a white coat. Anyone should run not walk from Dr.Hosley if you can and better yet avoid him altogether.

awful.....visit will never go back to see him ever again, the whole experience was awful never fully gotten a diagnosis or a reason for my pain.

Having been a practicing RN for more than thirty years, I can state with experience that there are no other neurologists more skilled, perceptive and compassionate than Dr. Hosley..."The buck stops here."!!

I went six months with violent spinning, balance off, side to side, vomiting from it, couldn't walk right, drive, fearful, undiagnosed, other doctor's talking might had possible stroke. I went to him, he put some glasses on me, put me on a table, wires to head and face, read machine read out, started moving me around different ways quick, acording to what machine was telling him, and was asking questions what i was feel and see. In the end I walked out of his office vertigo free, no spinning, fear gone, and my life back. Perfect diagnosis and perfect treatment. It was an inner ear problem and the sand like particles in ear needed to be put back into place. His machine and special glasses helped tell him which ways to move me and if and when it worked right.

AWFUL. Would NEVER recommend to anyone.

Left town without even sending patients a letter. Should probably stick to research or something that doesn't involve people. Good luck new patients. My loss is unfortunately your loss as well.
