Dr. Mark Preston Hyde, MD

Was so angry. Waited over an hour for the doc. My appointment was at 1115. At 1230 I still hadn't been seen. I could hear them outside my door. Update: Doc came in 10 minutes after post. Was extremely nice and thorough. Changed my appointment mid exam to include my yearly exam and breast exam because he LISTENED to my concerns. Thanks Dr. Hyde!

I am normally someone with thick skin... heck I am a Marine but geez this man has no empathy for a woman's pain. He literally pushed mirena contraceptive on me for two appointments. I kept telling him I had pelvic pain so he suggested to have it taken out give it two weeks and have it reinserted with a sonogram. I thought "wow! great idea"... for the next month I was still in the same pain. I would call back and tell the nurse and the suggestion from him was to "give it time." I gave it two months and still was in pain. I told him that I had pain even during intercourse with my husband and especially post, which obviously would strain our relationship. He literally told me "my low libido wasn't from pelvic pain caused by the Mirena" and that "women can have issuses with their libido for a number of other issues like a bad day or weight gain but not from the Mirena." 2 months later, I had the mirena taken out by a different VPFW doctor and no pain (even during sex). Happy Wife, Happy… life!

I had going here years and I feel he need listen patient not be mean rude to paint not take up for staff every time turn around .respect there appean .give people fair chance .take more time showing that care then not thinking he know everything.if paint tell him they not getting better he reconcinder.the paint feelings what going on. Not make all about him .I not recommended him no body know due facet him being the way treated me in office

Dr. Hyde was excellent with the delivery of my child. he was excellent with my surgery and helping to find the right doctor to bring my blood pressure down. God Bless you Dr. mark Hyde!

Dr.Hyde has been my OB/Gyn for almost 10 years. I drive across the river to see him, which was a lot of driving while I pregnant since we live in the west end. He is down to earth and honest. He stays with me until all my questions are answered. I have never felt rushed by him. He knows his patients too, which I think is pretty amazing since in general he sees us once a year. I've recommended him to a few friends, and we all agree that with him as a doctor, it makes that "yucky" appointment so much better. The most important part though, is that I fully trust him with any medical decisions.

Dr. Hyde is wonderful! I have been seeing him for years! He is very knowledgable and attentive. I have recommended him to everyone I know!

I would recommend Dr. Hyde to anyone. He has been my gynecologist for almost 15 years. I have had 4 children, 1 miscarriage and a hysterectomy now and received the best care with him and his staff. He is conservative in procedures, he is caring when things go wrong and he and his staff are always accessible.

Dr. Hyde has mixed reviews in the community. I saw him on recommendation from a friend. However, my experience was traumatic. He was arrogant, rude, and void of all compassion. He almost chuckled at my painful circumstance. He did not care about me, my family, or my situation, nor did he express any level of feeling or compassion. I have since learned that many others in the community feel as I do. His medical diagnosis of me turned out to be incorrect; he lacks diagnostic skills as well as bedside manner or professionalism. I would definitely not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Hyde has delivered 2 of my children and hopefully will be able to deliver my 3rd in a few months. He is extremely knowledgable, caring, and calm. He practices state of the art medicine and I would recommend him to anyone!!!
