Dr. Mark Ignatius, DO

Dr. Ignatius was clear, concise and kind to my 83-year old IHSS recipient. He listened to both of us and followed through with our request for physical therapy and other treatments for chronic pain caused by her scoliosis. Thank you, Dr. Ignatius.

Dr Ignatius has been my doctor for several years and I love him. I’ve had severe back pain and he’s been able to alleviate it with the treatments. I think he’s a very talented orthopedist.

I waited number of months before I got my appointment, and the moment he came in I wished I had seen him earlier. He was well informed on my case, cut to the chase, and gave me suggestions for how to proceed.. I haven’t had the injection he suggested yet, but am hoping that will alleviate my pain. Thank you, Dr. Ignatius!

Dr. Ignatius was very polite and came to the appointment knowledgeable of my situation. He had reviewed the MRI and the other information I provided to his assistant prior to coming into the treatment room. The key issue was regarding a herniated disk as imaged in the MRI. I gave him a brief oral history of the hiking accident and no known injury specific to the back, except for the incident carrying/lifting heavy bags for the garden about 5 years ago. His ability to carefully listen to the full description of the problem followed by reasonable actions to help address the cause of the problem added to my appreciation of his analysis. I would highly recommend Dr. Ignatius.

Dr. Ignatius has a calming bedside manner, which I so appreciate especially when dealing with pain and its accompanying anxiety. After undergoing an MRI for my low back pain, Dr. Ignatius took the time to thoroughly explain the results, ensuring I understood every aspect. I find it invaluable how he educated me about my diagnosis, empowering me to take charge of my own healing and recovery, and helping me grasp his treatment recommendations. The way he attentively took his time with me made me feel as though I was his only patient that day, a testament to his attentiveness and care. This sense of being valued and cared for is not only comforting but, in my experience, contributes significantly to the healing process. His assistant, Victoria, is equally commendable for her friendliness and efficiency. She promptly follows up and is reliable. I am deeply grateful for Dr. Ignatius’s care and patience.
