Dr. Mark Jeffries, DO

For about 7 years I have been seeing Dr. Jeffries. He properly diagnosed a severe health issue I have and am currently being treated for it and issues that stem from it. He is conscientious and caring, providing info from lab tests, going over the results and instructing me on how I can regain and maintain my health. He does not hesitate to refer me to a specialist if needed. I have referred several people to Dr. Jeffries. His office is clean, the staff are great to work with and are always helpful in providing info or setting my appointments. I always look forward to my visits because the staff is consistent with little or no turn-over, so I feel comfortable with the office and lab personnel.

Dr. Jeffries is very personable and goes over your blood work with you in his office, point by point. I am a 52-year-old female and he has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend his services and his practice to anyone looking for a reliable doctor. There is minimal wait time, appointments can be scheduled with ease (not waiting on hold like my last doctor). I have had him as my primary doctor for 3 years and never been dissatisfied. I have gotten second opinions on blood work results and they have all checked out with his feedback. I can't think of anything I would recommend that needs improved - he gets 5 stars from me!

I think Dr. Jeffries is an awesome Dr. I have recommended him to several of my friends. Dr. Jefferies has questioned me when I was not being fully honest with myself, and “called me out” on it. I think a Dr. should do just that. I have nothing but good to say about the doc.

I would like to respond to a couple of the reviews of poor satisfaction. One patient stated that I required excessive returns. This person had multiple problems that I addressed in the only office visit that we had. It takes time initially to develop a medical rapport, approach medical conditions logically and accurately. With a new patient, there is about 15 to 20 minutes that I get to have with that person after the medical assistant. Then I have to develop a plan of approach for each problem that may require a full physical, labs, review the labs with the patient, decide on medication or referrals, reassess the progress and discuss future visits to monitor the patient. The patient may think that all of this is excessive, but most likely the conditions did not develop over night and therefore the treatment may not be perfect the first time. There are remarks about co-pays, but if the patient has multiple conditions then they may have to make several follow ups initially. The co-pay… issue is between the insurance company and the employer, not me. It was also stated that I did not remove a lesion on the body during the first visit. Surgery is a separate issue due to the time involved, the medical assistant gathering the required surgical equipment and anesthetic, prepping the site and the surgery itself. This adds on another 20minutes or more. Now I have spent 45 to 60minutes with the patient and there are now other patients waiting to be seen and they have a grievance because I am running behind. I want to help the individual, but there is always limited time which require future visits to address. A regular office visit is 15 minutes and a late patient will cause a physician to run 1+hours behind. The other patient stated that I was rude and disrespectful. This only saw the nurse practitioner and not me as noted in the chart. Therefore, reviews can be very biased and subjective, and need to be approached cautiously when choosing a physician or deciding the quality of care. I have been fortunate to find a very passionate and well informed doctor. My office visits to Dr. Jeffries have provided me with great care and a physician who has always had my best interest at heart. His pleasant demeanor and knowledgeable background has always made my office visits informative and easy.

My family has gone to Dr Jeffries for many years. I have always felt that Dr Jeffries has always treated me as if I am his only concern. He does listen and he never appears rushed. I recommend highly.

Always rushed and running behind. Interupts me and he's distracted easily and forgets what he's talking about. He has a very bad temper and treats his patients and staff poorly. Very rude and short tempered. Refuses to talk about more than one topic/issue. Even if it's as simple as a sore throat but you need a refill for something else. He says "make another appointment, that's not why you're here today." Some of the staff feeds off of this negative energy and they will get rude as well. It's obvious there's a lot of tension and stress between them.

Dr Mark was my doctor for several years.. He is excellent and I would not have changed had it been for insurance then moving out of state.

I would not recommend this Dr to anyone I care about. He seems to be nutty professor like , perhaps ADHD. I've been going to Cornerstone offices for 10+ yrs. He always runs WAY behind - then rushes to get you out of the office. Had some test done , returned a week later for follow up and they didn't have them? REALLY-!! Had more tests done, went for follow up and same freaking thing!! Still don't know results as they've not called or emailed and didn't reschedule me to come back? Office EKG machine doesn't work properly according the nurse, and I'm just sick of the lack of professionalism and test follow through, ridiculous. Last visit no test results, ordered nurse to do EKG with fouled equipment and was busy handholding a drug rep as I left without my 3 month appointment being scheduled and no test results that I went there for in the first place! He will not address any anxiety concerns, will not prescribe meds for it either, used to have a big sign saying they don't prescribe for… anxiety. Currently seeking new dr!!!!!
