Dr. Mark Anthony Johnston, MD

I've lived in Dallas for about 5 years and did not have a PCP. Unfortunately, I recently found myself extremely sick and misdiagnosed by urgent care clinics. I am far from my hometown physician and I had no idea where to go. Dr. Johnson was referred to me by a friend and his office squeezed me in to see his PA that same day (who was incredible). After several days of not knowing what was wrong with me, Dr. Johnson's team finally got it right. I was correctly diagnosed, and was taken care of. They even continued to follow up with me to ensure that I was taking the right steps to get healthy. I am certainly using Dr. Johnson and his team as my Primary Care Physician moving forward. Dallas feels more like a permanent home now that I have a Doctor I can trust!

Avoid if you actually want to see your physician. He’s rarely in the office or available so you will end up seeing a different physician assistant every time. I have recently ended up going to the minute clinic because of this. He’s not your typical family doctor who will remember who you are.

I went to his office in early this year but I got treated by a physician assistant intern from UNT Medical School. When he came in to see me, he only saw me for about 2 minutes and handed me some prescriptions that did not help me with my illness. I was essentially treated by his intern. I did not return to his office for treatment ever since. I got another pretty awesome PCP now who cares a lot about his patients. He is pretty smart, too.

I have been Dr. Johnston's patient for 25 years. Very satisfied!!!

Quiet but a wonderful doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnston's for over 15 years. He always gone above and beyond the standard of ordinary care to address my health concerns. He has not hesitated to refer me to another physician when it has been needed and has always followed up with my healthcare. I am thankful to have a such a caring physician and an exceptional staff who works with him.
