Dr. Mark A Kachadurian, DO

Drove through a snowstorm to get to my appointment. Procedure was cancelled at the last minute while I was on-site for a minor technicality. Requested to speak with the doctor for one minute about an upcoming MRI (another matter). Waited patiently in the waiting room for his next availability. Then told he wouldn't speak to me! Unbelievable! never felt so disrespected in my life. I quit being his patient on the spot and cancelled all future appointments and procedutres.

Dr. Kachadurian is nothing like the bad reviewers that he has received on here. He was straight to the point yeah we waited a while to finally see him but he's a specialist and that right there tells you something not to mention Covid 19.

Do not use this doctor. His staff is very hard to work with and he is a very mean person. He yelled at my nurse and instructed her to shut up. I was in a car accident and he would not take any payment from them, I had to pay for this test out of my own pocket or he would not do the test. If I could give them a 0 I would.

I saw Dr. Kachadurian 3 times- on the third visit, I decided I needed to find a new doctor. He would not take the time to answer my questions, became visibly angry when I reworded my questions in hopes of an answer, and yelled at my husband for trying to clarify what we wanted to know. This was all after waiting for an hour past our appointment time. It was the worst doctor appointment I have ever had- he was also training a new doctor at the time. I called the office later that day with a question, and was on hold for half an hour before anyone even answered the phone. Overall, a terrible experience with this doctor and the office itself.

I was referred for foot numbness. Before Dr K even did any testing or talked to me about my problem he asked about taking medication. When I said, “ I prefer not to unless absolutely necessary” he just proceeded through his robotic test. And just said,MRI And EMG”. Also, they charged me triple my co pay which I figured out by calling my ins co. I had tests done and was surprised to see Dr K performed EMG. I have had EMG. before and have never been in so much pain. I came for my follow up, which probably could have been done over the phone, and they tried to charge me triple my co pay again. I called ins and they spoke to office staff to verify my co pay. I have a call into my referring physician for another doctor. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO DR K??

Incompetent scheduling and front desk staff. I scheduled an appointment for one office, the office staff made the appointment for another office. Sent me to the other office when I showed up for my appointment and when I got to the other office, they were closed after they told me they would call ahead and make sure they knew I was coming.

I was treated so poorly by the office staff at the office in Novi that I had to stop going to see the doctor after 2 years. They do not return your phone calls, do not refill prescriptions or give the physician messages. I was hassled by the office staff to prepay a deductible amount before my first visit of 2018 I explained that the deductible did not apply to their services. The billing staff argued with me and told me to call my insurance company if I had an issue with what I was told. So I called BCBS myself I found out that I was correct and did not owe the deductible amount. I then called the office back and explained that per BCBS I did not owe the money and they still argued with me and told me either I paid or I could not be seen. This was the last straw for me in a long line of terrible patient service and I will never go back. Dr. Kachadurian obviously cares more about making money then he does about his patient care and as a patient this is unacceptable behavior on… his part. I would not send anyone I know to see him. I have worked as a medical biller for over 30 years and I can tell you that the way that I was treated was terrible and totally preventable ifsomeone would have done their job correctly.

I was scared to take this test as it can be painful but Dr. Kachedurian made it as "pain free" as he could and distracted me with conversation to further help. He is fast, which is a plus ;), and gave me some of the results right then and there as well as assuring me that the surgeon would have the results by my scheduled appt. This is the guy to see for an EMG!

I just had my f/u appt with Dr K. I am new to area and needed new neuro. I regret my choice and will find new one. Office staff is rude. Med assistant rushes through VS and incorrectly reports them. I am a nurse. I know how this is done. Dr requires f/u appts to "discuss" test results. Which were NORMAL. My other neurologists never did this. Why spend the time and $$ for a 5 second review of labs that are normal? He is arrogant and makes the appt feel rushed. I WILL be looking for a new neurologist.

How can you have a practice without nurses ? Every time you call you are on hold to speak with a scheduler about question that should be answered by a nurse. I read reviews before I went to see doctor thinking I'll give him a try. Yes he does order every test in the book $$$ which was unnecessary since I've had this diagnosis for 30 years. They don't call you back on test results. You have to go in and see him every time for results and answered to questions. Office very unorganized without nursing staff ! I was an office nurse.
