Dr. Mark Howard Kagen, MD

Have been a patient for over a decade and trust his knowledge totally. He takes his time, informs the patient on the situation and is caring in his dealings.

Second time there never saw a PA or a doctor , very unprofessional , in all my years of great care from my dermatologist in NY this was the most very disappointing. Only person I saw inside the exam room was a medical assistant denying my appointment to see a physician assistant , after asking to see her a few times Never happened to my ever with any medical facility

I started seeing Dr Kagen at the recommendation of a friend. Dr. Kagen is thorough,professional, caring and reassuring. He has helped me treat my on-going issues with pre-cancer spots on my face.

Dr. Kagen is very thorough, pleasant, listens to your questions and answers them simply. He is always concerned about your comfort during any procedure. He is quiet in speaking and never appears to be rushed. He has always been on time. The staff is very welcoming. Recommend him to my friends.

Dr Kagen has been a good choice for me. I have had 4 annual screenings from him. The biopsies, when needed, were not painful. I had to have a site surgically removed and a plastic surgeon in the same group did a great job.

I have gone to several dermatologist both in Florida and in New York with my condition with no cure found for a couple of years and Dr. Kagan gave me the prescription for the right medication and it was cured IMMEDIATELY. He, also, did two biopsies on me and called me and told me the results HIMSELF. He did not have someone in the office call me.

My son saw him because he was the only one in the practice treating children. He was by far the rudest, most arrogant doctor I've ever come across. I can't imagine how the others would be if he was the only one to handle the pediatric cases. There are plenty of other dermatologists, and practices, in the area to deal with this guy.

Asks if you have any questions, answers completely, then asks if you have any more questions. Very gentle and considerate. I recommend him very highly.
