Dr. Mark Paul Kal, MD

I moved to El Dorado County in 1990 and Dr. Kal was the only Dr. I had till he moved, ( I switched medical coverage just to stay with him). I woke up one morning with chest pains and called, (after a mc accident), and I credit him with saving my life. He called ahead to the emergency room and told them what to look for, (pulmonary embolism) and I was admitted immediately. He listens, he hears what you say, and his concern for his patients is probably the highest recommendation that I can give him

I was a patient of Dr.Kal's while he practiced in Placerville. One of my last visits he said with the way medicine is going we need to start taking care of our own health and become more involved. I didn't quite understand that back then, but I do now. That was many years ago and I think about those words of wisdom often and have taken his advice. Thank you, Dr. Kal.
