Dr. Markandu Ketheeswaran, MD

I saw Dr. Ketheewaran for anemia and iron deficiency. I was also awaiting a surgery due to internal bleeding. I had to call his office for a solid 8 business days and leave a message (sometimes the voicemail was full) until I finally got the receptionist on the phone. The receptionist and the Doctor himself were very rude and spoke over me and wouldn't let me get a sentence out. I had seen him for at least 3 months and at this point needed a blood transfusion due to lightheadedness and dizziness and the lab work my general practitioner had done. I didn't want to wait in the ER for a day to get the transfusion or pay that kind of bill so I was just asking him to schedule or refer me to someone in the hospital to schedule one. Two weeks of messages and etc. and his response was go to the ER. I am a single mom of 3 kids one of which is special needs I can't afford an ER visit or the time it takes for that but he didn't want to hear it.

Very dirty and unorganized office. The doctor is after nothing but insurance money. Go somewhere else if you care about your health.

Dr Mark is excellent with his bed side manner. Takes his time talking to you and makes sure you understand treatments. Very genuine! Facility: needs to be updated. Can only pay with cash or check; very inconvenient! Considering the fact that I get money taken out of my check yearly and put on a benefit card to use for medical expenses it’s irritating to still have to pay out of pocket a specialist copay when fund on my visa has already been made available for that. Staff: (receptionist) is not knowledgeable and/or confident in her job description. Can’t seem to answer general questions. Subpar at best. (Nurse) awesome and very friendly. (Billing) does not do a good job of explaining charges First visit: my appointment was at 8:30 staff didn’t get there until about 8:25 and I still had to sit outside and wait until they decided to unlock the door after 8:30. Great doctor but business lacks a certain level of professionalism

My son and daughter-in-law moved me here. I was getting iron and blood for anemia caused by large hiatal hernia. He had a plan of care from the very first visit. He called ourfamily with information and plans. I finally got my port put in after four physicians and medical personnel trying to get IV access over the last three plus years. I have colitis since my thirties and colon cancer in 11-2000. He made rounds at the hospital where he admitted me for blood and a port. My family and I are lucky to have him as my Hemotologist-Oncologist. Dr. Mark answered all our questions and concerns we never had to wait and wonder what my next course of care would be. We are now going to have my hiatal hernia fixed.

Have many complex medical problems and Dr Ketheeswaran is as a Dr and a person one of the most patient caring and interested in you and your problems that I have been to in many years. Its a shame that more primary Dr's were not this taken with there patients.

As a New Patient I was so impressed with Dr. Mark & his staff. I knew from the very first call I received from Patrice I was sent to the Best office. She was so polite & took time with me.I was Greated with a big smile & true manors by Patrice when I walked in the office. Dr. Mark is so Nice. He made me feel at ease by spending time with me and taking time to Explain everything so I would understand. I can not begin to explain how nice it was to leave with no doubt I am in the right hands. Best Dr. & Staff Hands Down!!

Dr Mark is ONE of A kind!! He personally calls & checks on you. He takes his time & Explains the treatment in a way that I understand! His Staff is truly Amazing! Patrice Always has a smile & she is such a sweet & caring person. Dr Mark & Patrice make going to the office very pleasant! Nobody wants cancer but if you find yourself needing the Best in town Give Dr Mark a call! I recently told Patrice that she makes going to a office Nobody wants to go to Pleasant! Dr Mark will take Wonderful care of you! Patrice will go far & beyond to make sure you get what you need!

THIS MAN IS AN EXCELLENT PHYSICIAN. HE IS A KIND AND COMPASSIONATE MAN. HE TRULY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. HE IS ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE TO ME. HE PAYS ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL OF THE SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS FROM MY DISEASE AND TREATS THEM. HE ALWAYS EXPLAINS THE TREATMENT AND WHY HE IS GIVING IT. HE NEVER TIRES OR GETS ANNOYED FROM ALL OF THE QUESTIONS I ASK. HE ANSWERS MY QUESTIONS IN SIMPLE TERMS SO THAT I UNDERSTAND MY TREATMENT. WHEN I AM IN THE HOSPITAL, HE FOLLOWS UP WITH HOSPITAL STAFF TO ENSURE THAT MY TREATMENT IS GOING ACCORDING TO SCHEDULE. HE FOLLOWS UP WITH ME ON A REGULAR BASIS. I TALK WITH HIM PERSONALLY NOT JUST HIS STAFF. HIS STAFF IS ALSO AWESOME. THEY ARE OF THE SAME KIND, CARING AND CONSIDERATE NATURE HE HAS. I AM TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE HIM AS MY DOCTOR.
