Dr. Kiefer, his nurses and staff are among the BEST I have encountered. I had excellent communication and care from my colon rupture all the way to wound resolution. Highly recommend.

From the reviews, it appears that you either love him or hate him. My experience has been excellent on all matters. I was very impressed that every time I visited with him, including the minutes prior to my colonoscopy, he knew who I was and why I was there (follow up to confirm diagnosis from acute diverticulitis and 5 day hospital stay ) with a copy of my records in his hand. In his office, he pulled up CT scans and tried to show me the areas of concern. I say "tried" because not being a physician or radiologist, it was pretty much Greek to me. His manner is friendly and never appeared to be in a hurry to get me in and out so he could move on to the next patient.

I would highly recommend this very knowledgeable doctor to anybody. He has an incredible bed side manner and truly cares that you understand what his diagnosis is and the course of action he plans to take. What an awesome Doctor. I wish there were more like him.
