Dr. Mark Ray Killman, MD

If I could click zero stars, I would. He was horrible. No bedside manner whatsoever. He was rough with me even after I told him how much I hurt. I’m stiff and in pain. He tells me I have to bend my hands, I tell him I do the exercises from physical therapy. Then he asks why I’m going to PT. Very rude, telling me to bend my thumb multiple times, I told him I didn’t understand, he says it only bends one way. I’ve never had such a horrible experience. I was in tears. The nerve test was unpleasant, which isn’t his fault. How horribly he treats patients is absolutely his fault. He asked what kind of work I did, I told him affordable housing and he says “aren’t they trying to cut that?” Wow, rub it in that I’m losing my job, the job that’s paying for this exam. Seriously, no manners, compassion, nothing. When he’s done with the test, he’s typing away, blocking the door. After a few minutes, he tells me I’m free to leave. He doesn’t get up or open the door. Absolutely… awful. I see others online had a similar experience. I shouldn’t have checked reviews because I wouldn’t have seen him.

Dr Killman couldn’t have been more approachable or professional. He explained everything, warned when something would hurt and parts of the EMG test do hurt: a needle and electric currents are being used. I couldn’t recommend him and his staff more highly!

I drove to Sedalia to see him and pretty much from the time he found out I wasn’t working all he did was belittle all the people in Missouri on disability and SSI ( which I’m not on either) and said Missouri is called the “give me state” now, what any of this had to do with my test is beyond me. He seemed pretty annoyed from that point on, even taking the time to text in between procedures. It’s been several days since my test and I still have bruises and swelling from where he jabbed me with needles ( which I didn’t even know was part of the procedure). VERY unprofessional and I would not go to him again or recommend him to anyone!

Dr Killman has a different personality, one that I appreciate and like. He is down to earth without being rude. He informed me about both the minor little shocks and the sticks beforehand so I wasn't caught off guard when they came. I found them uncomfortable, but not painful. His nurse and another staff member were very pleasant and, when I returned because I thought I left my phone, they all, including the Dr., made a group effort to find my phone in their office. Dr. Killman even called my phone on his cell in an attempt to locate my phone. I found it later under the seat of my car, but was impressed they were so helpful. I am surprised at the comments here....my experience was pleasant and if I need this test again, I will request this doctor. Pamela Moore

I've had 2 EMG's from this "Doctor" and others from St. Luke's East. Dr. Killmans tests were unnecessarily painful, he was rude, dismissive, and his Bedside Manner was the Absolute Worst of any Doctor I've ever had the Misfortune to meet.

I honestly wish I could give this doctor 0 out of 5 stars. He was extremely rude from the very beginning of my visit. He shamed me over and over for having weight loss surgery. He didn’t explain anything he was doing as he stuck needles into my muscles. He had no compassion and was very judgmental. I left his office crying and feeling so judged and hopeless. On a brighter note, his office nurse was very pleasant.

This guy is rude.... do not see him. Find someone better to help you with better bed side manner

I am disabled. I have been ill for 22 years. Dr. Killman was very judgemental when he learned this. I have had this testing done before, about a decade ago. It did not hurt. Dr. Killman shoved some of the needles in so hard that my arm came off the table. It was very painful! He only softened towards me when he had me crying.

Rude doctor that doesn’t read charts

I would not go to this doctor he does not test you properly. He did not test me in any way for pain management or see where I was hurting. Disrespectful and disregards your concerns. He can’t hear or see right.
