Dr. Mark Andrew Knaub, MD

Dr. Knaub was a pleasure to work with. I had a lower lumbar fusion due to 70% slipped discs done by him at the same time as a tethered chord release by Dr. Iantosca a month after turning 17. I had years of back and forth with doctors. I was in excruciating pain that constantly left me in tears and unable to move. I'm not without pain, but my quality of life and level of pain has drastically improved since my surgery. Dr. Knaub has always been very kind and professional, as well as very helpful in answering any questions I had. If in the future I ever need surgery on my spine again (which I probably will), I will without a doubt go back to him. He helped me when it felt like nobody else would. 100% would recommend.

I have had back issues/pain for the last 14 years, with a previous back surgery 13 years ago. I recently sustained a debilitating injury that left me unable to stand or walk without excruciating pain. Not only did Dr. Knaub correct the pain from my injury, he also corrected the pain I have had for the last 14 years. He is an amazing surgeon with a fantastic bedside manner. Dr Knaub is the best Dr I have had to treat my back problems. In 2014 he did a 8 hr surgery on my spine including a laminectomy, a double fusion, and placed 2 cages in all in my lumbar spine. I had so much relief after the surgery and recovery period. I would glady recommend him to anyone suffering from spine disorders. He is also a wonderful person who takes time to listen to you and explain the problems going on and treated my pain when no other Dr would help me...he knew and understood my problems, treated my pain and performed a life changing surgery.

I have had 4 back surgeries over the past 18 years and was never successful. Went to Dr. Knaub he did back surgery and finally I am free from back pain. He is the most gifted down to earth surgeon ever. If you are told you need back surgery highly recommend going to see Dr. Knaub.

I recently had spinal surgery performed by Dr Knaub. He is patient, kind, empathetic and skillful. His bedside mannerism is far above most Physicians and his skillful surgical techniques allowed me to walk out of the hospital pain free, which was the first in many years. This physician / surgeon is phenominal and i highly recommend him. His office staff is just as wonderful.

I recently had back surgery for a herniated disc. 3 weeks out now. So far I am fully satisfied with my experience. I was hesitant about the surgery actually afraid but I did feel safe with Dr. Knaub's expertise.

a very prestigious spine dr. who is still practicing [only he has since moved from pshmc to md] diagnosed me yrs. ago with flatback from the harrington rod misplacements done in the 80's this dr. has written several publications on the complications and the PAIN associated with the all over instability and sagitall imbalance from my surgery, done by another hosp in the mid 80's dr. knaub not only pushed me out the door, but almost laughed out loud, smirking at my persistent and debilitating pain

Mark Knaub is the most compassionate, caring doctor I have ever met. I will recommend him to anyone that needs back surgery, his staff is friendly, and courteous and if there is a delay they will inform you.
