Dr. Mark A Koup, DDS

Mark A. Koup, D.M.D.
Dr. Mark Koup graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2004.  At Penn, he was president of Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and served as a peer tutor in the preclinical laboratories.
He completed a General Practice Residency at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania in 2005 where he performed hospital dentistry and gained considerable experience in oral surgery, pediatric dentistry and implantology.  Upon completion of his residency, Mark was presented with the Golden Forceps Award for excellence in Oral Surgery among his peers.
Dr. Mark Koup has been with Richard F. Koup D.M.D. & Associates since 2005.  Mark also serves as a Clinical Associate at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he teaches clinical restorative dentistry two days a week to junior and senior dental students.
Mark was honored by his peers by being named a top general dentist for 2008 in Main Line Today.  Fellowship eligible in the …Academy of General Dentistry after completing the requisite 500 hours, Mark also belongs to the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Academy of Stomatology.  Mark is also an active participant in the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and the Greater Philadelphia Dental Seminars.
A graduate of Great Valley High School and Muhlenberg College, Mark's interests include guitar, mixology, Philadelphia sports, and racquetball.
