Dr. Mark Anthony Lawton, MD

I had heard many great stories about this doctor and I decided to move to him. My 1st meeting with Dr Lawton was 45 minutes. I had never had a Dr. spend that amount of time with one patient. He answered all my concerns and was interested in making sure that I knew he would take good care of me. I have another follow up visit soon and I actually look forward to seeing him. I feel I am in great hands now and I don't worry as much..God Bless Dr. Mark Lawton..

I greatly appreciate the attention that Dr. Lawton gives to make sure the heart and aorta remain healthy. Having had an aortic dissection more than 20 years ago it is essential to me that I keep watch carefully

As a Canadian experiencing serious illness while in Hilton Head (2018) I had the distinct good fortune to be under the care of Dr. Lawton. During a two week stay in the hospital he ensured that both my wife and I were always informed, educated and apprised of my condition. His attention to detail, constant communication and deep rooted care played a significant role in my getting well. Under his care and guidance I was able to understand my situation and gain confidence with the associated treatments. Our sincere thank you to Dr. Lawton who visited me twice a day giving me confidence and strength with his quiet and professional counsel.

Dr. Lawton seems like a good doctor. Initial consultation went well. Follow up visit and front desk scheduling awful. I rescheduled for their convenience and after waiting 1 hr and 20 mins, I walked out. Second receptionist said he would probably not be in for the day. Its bad enough that you have to wait for doctors, but to wait and find out that the doctor was not even notified of appointment is irresponsible.

Dr. Lawton is a caring physician who has your interest at heart.

Dr. Lawton takes time with his patients is knowledgeable and has a good sense of humor. It's no wonder that he is very well liked.

From my first visit through my procedure absolutely a wonderful experience. Dr. Lawton has a very compassionate nature and you can tell he cares. His staff from the front desk to the nurses are personable and so talented. I highly recommend Dr. Lawton's team.

His office staff is very non-welcoming. You sign in on a clip board which disapears behind a frosted sliding glass window. No comment, no greeting is given. You are left to find a seat and wait. One day it was a wait of 1 hour and 15 minutes. When I went to the window and nocked and anounced that I was leaving, the girl actually got up from her chair and said she would find out what was the delay in the back. I left.
