Waited over an hour in waiting room and an additional 30 minutes in examination room. The office itself looks dirty and unorganized. The doctor looks disheveled and does not seem to have a good handle on his staff. The front desk receptionist was obnoxious and rude. DO NOT recommend!

This was the worst experience! I had to wait almost an hour and a half to see the Doctor. Then the Dr. Was texting, answering phone calls, then stepped out of the room for another 15 minutes. Most of the staff are obnoxious and unhelpful. I strongly recommend you do not use him.

Used to have good experiences. But unpleasant staff, often even nasty; absurdly long wait times; refusal to take Blue Cross; (you have to pay cash, can you imagine!)and now poor results managing my headaches has sent me elsewhere.

I've seen Dr. Lazar for over 10 years, and have just changed doctors. Several months ago, I had a headache that had lasted a week, and he would only help me if I could fork over $550 on the spot! (He was out-of-network for me.) After waiting well over an hour to see him, I left in tears and decided to move on. It's too bad, because he helped me in the past, but things have changed. And I agree with the previous reviewer about his staff - they are rude and talk loudly about patients so that the whole waiting room can hear them.

Dr. Lazar is a great doctor. Unfortunately, his staff is really just unhelpful and totally incompetent. They take your phone number but don't call you when he's running late, and frankly the wait times are always close to an hour, with one visit almost two and one-half hours! They make it tough to get an appointment and act as if they are doing you a favor. The office itself is dingy and dirty and looks like it hasn't been updated since the 60s. Another example of a great docotr with a lousy staff. BE SURE TO ASK about insurance, too, as he takes very few plans.
