I was in remission until I started seeing this doctor. He changed my treatment and caused me to become very sick, he miss diagnosed, my illness progressed unnecessarily. I'm still sick a year later. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

My son lives in the Baltimore area and was repeatedly having major episodes for several weeks including he could not eat and lost forty pounds. Dr Lazarev met with my son and me right away and took care of my son in such a caring and professional way that for the first time in weeks my sons frustration and anxiety levels were gone. I worked in the medical field for six years in the military and Dr Lazarev’s professionalism and compassion is one of the best I have ever experienced.

When I needed a new GI, I went straight to doctor Marc Lazarev because he works for Johns Hopkins hospital. I was desperately looking for answers but after driving 4, 5 hours back and forth for each visit, I realized he is more confused than his patients. His nurse and even his secretary are more knowledgeable and more caring than he is!!!

Dr. Lazarev has always taken the time to listen to my concerns, and explain diagnosis & treatment options. He is easy to contact and is great about following up. Would highly recommend.
