Dr. Mark Bernard Lew, MD

My daughter has been coming to this office for more than a year. We don't have the need to go unless we need services from the Doctor. However if the cannot get the full amount of money they want from you and your child they will literally make you visit for everything. They don't care if it's cold outside as long as their getting paid for you to come. I went there with my daughter and she had a rash on the back of leg. I am a sufferer of Topical steroid withdrawal and they tried to give me or recommended steroids instead of trying to figure out what caused the rash. So I decided that I wasnt going to do that and I went to an Allergist. They told me it's look fungal and to go to a dermatologist. I need a electronic referral in order for my daughter to go to a dermatologist. They refused and wanted to discharge my daughter because we didn't want to keep coming in about this rash. Then the anonymously called ACS and lied and said I was hitting my daughter in the office and throwing… chairs because I went in there for the paperwork the same day they told me they will discharge my daughter. The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WHEN IM JUST TRYING TO GET TO THE ROOT OF MY DAUGHTER'S RASH

Worst doctor ever

Dr. Lew's thoughts were all over the place, one minute he was cooperative & answered questions the next minute he would tell you that he doesn't get paid enough to deal with you. Dr. Lew's behavior was very unprofessional, rude, & it was a waste of time trying to explain to him why his behavior was offensive. If a doctor treated someone he loved the same way would he find it acceptable?

I have been going to this office for 26 years. I have tried other offices but never felt as comfortable as i do here. They provide great care, discuss condition in detail and explain what needs to be done. If no Insurance they have reasonable payment plans, they got parking lot. All in all i think its a complete package.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND GREAT DIAGNOSIS ALWAYS THERE FOR US DAY AND NIGHT

Dr. Lew saw my kids from they were born until they were 20+ and also saw many of my cousins from birth. He now sees my grandkids and my cousin kids. He has also been very courteous and patient, always taking the time to explain any medical issues you might have. His office has always been filled with lots of toys for his patients and my kids always looked forward to the special and unusual machines used to test their hearing. Machines that put our kids mind at ease. This relationship has spanned over 36 years and I have never experienced Dr. Lew being rude or impatient. If I needed to get prescriptions for my children he would ask the staff to watch the kids while I run to the pharmacy. Once my son had an asthma attack and I took him to Dr. Lew and while there he realized that I was feeling a bit under the weather also and after taking care of my son he took the time to check me out also. He the BEST!

I attended Dr Lew with my son for several years until he flipped on me one day. he was the nicest man one day and rude disrespectful and unprofessional the next. My son was experiencing consistent vomiting lethargy and irritability. I believed this may have been allergy related and I was concerned about him receiving vaccinations as well. When I explained my concerns he started raising his voice and throwing stuff down on his desk because I had the nerve to question his superior medical knowledge. I merely questioned the dangers I had read about vaccines. He was a total jerk .He verbally abused me calling me an idiot for even asking this as I sat there dumbfounded. Then he threw me out and said not to bother him anymore, I retrieved my sons records never to return. I am still confused as to why he would react in such a way but none the less he is a potential problem with mood swings and outbursts I highly do not recommend him as a stable individual and would never feel safe leaving my… child alone with this individual. Unfortunate because I found the other Dr's there to be nice but Dr Lew I have to say was an idiot!

Dr. Lew goes out of his way to provide the best possible medical care and follow up services. When my child needs a specialist, he calls right on the spot and sets up an appointment. He really cares about my child and he spends time with me during appointments to make sure I understand any medical issues. It is easy to get an appointment the same day and he is open every day. Dr. Lew has stayed late in the office to wait for me when my child needed emergency care.

A++ I love Dr. Lew's office. I have been going to his office since i was a kid myself and now my son is a patient there. Reason is simple, he is always available (as far as i know) and i am always able to get same day appointments. Office hours fit my schedule and Doctors in the office are very nice and helpful. If your child's care and same day appointments (to avoid hospital visits) is a priority i would definitely recommend this doctor.
