Dr. Mark William Lloyd Ligorski, MD

Throughout my treatment with Mark Ligorski, any time I was honest about my mental health or my concerns I was always met with disbelief, judgment, or rudeness to the point that I stopped feeling comfortable sharing specifics about where I was at mentally during our meetings. Thankfully I have a stable regiment of medication and only needed his services to refill those prescriptions, but I always dreaded our appointments. WARNING: If you are actively struggling, need medication changes, or want a supportive psychiatrist, DO NOT BOOK WITH MARK LIGORSKI

Dr Ligorski likes to write narratives and not listen to his clients. He's very arrogant and acts like a mixmaster. He's not in it to take care of people he's in it for the money

Dr Ligorski can be very dismissive especially for people looking to open up and look for help. He's very chastising when he doesn't get his way and he doesn't understand that he's dealing with people that are tender.

Dr, Ligorski is very self important and can be dismissive which is very hurtful to people making the effort to get help. His arrogance gets in the way of any type of meaningful conversation and I was prescribed the wrong medication with horrible results. Stay away. The psychiatrists in this area are so incompetent and greedy for money and more and more that I now drive to another area and wouldn't give up. I couldn't agree with this review anymore. This is exactly how I feel.

Dr. Ligorski has always made me feel listened to, and most importantly validated. I as well see a THERAPIST who I spend my time with (45 min a session) where I can talk and really work on myself. Dr. Ligorski IS NOT A THERAPIST he is there to prescribe medication based on what the therapist believes and his own due diligence in the 20 min session. I have felt better, been better at work and in my home life thanks to him.

Dr. Ligorski completely ruined my relationship by giving terrible advice without ever having spoken to my significant other. He swayed my opinions in half hour monthly sessions and acted like he knew all, when in fact he did not. I would never recommend him to anyone, and I think he should retire or have his licensure questioned at the very least. I wish I never saw him.

Dr Ligorski has saved my life. He does everything he can to help and is not afraid to think out of the box. If you call him, unlike many other doctors, you are Guaranteed a return phone call. I don't understand some of the comments about him rushing you out of the office. It just isn't true. He spends lots of time, sometimes goes over the time, and makes sure he understands what is going on with you. I highly recommend him.

If you are looking to get well, go somewhere else. If your looking to be drugged for years on end, this is the place for you. Will bill insurance for a 20 minute session then spend 7 minutes to write a prescription. Arrogant, rude, and totally out of touch. My opinion? See a doctor that cares about you, and not the limits of your health insurance policy.

In my opinion, Dr. Ligorski spends little time with patients in a effort to understand their situation to lay out a plan for recovery, reserving just enough time to renew a prescription and send them on their way. Under his care for a very long time, sad to say (my error). If you want help, go elsewhere. You won't find it here.
