Dr. Mark Leland Lobaugh, MD

Dr. Lobaugh is the best OB I have ever had. I had complications during my delivery and he remained calm and in control. Baby and I both came out of it fine and I attribute it to Dr. Lobaughs knowledge and ability. I would recommend him to anyone having a baby.

I cannot provide folks an adequate comment toward the positive impact Dr. Lobaugh has had on my health and that of quality of life for me and ultimately my family. I have been in the care of Dr Lobaugh for roughly 5 years. His thoughtful manner, caring nature and personal communication (and understanding) is beyond a limited 5 star rating scheme. Although I live Georgetown, I will brave any distance required to access him over that of any other OB/GYN provider within my local area. I now see Dr Lobaugh for bio-identical hormone replacement. Prior to that I suffered for years with endometriosis that avoided detection by many primary care and specialty physicians. Within my initial visit with him, he identified the issue and immediately scheduled the procedure that rectified my condition. His staff members are as caring and honest as he is (not imitation nice...GENUINELY nice) and all are as helpful as possible. He always has my paperwork, (medical record) in hand when I arrive and… to date, has never lost or misplaced a single lab result, or medical note since the very beginning. It is not difficult for one to see that he loves his job, respects his clientele and appreciates the gravity of impact he has on his patients.

So Apparently my “nausea & vomiting” isn’t pregnancy related according to dr.lobaugh. I’ve been sick the entire time since I’ve been a patient. Asked for a refill of zofran only for him to tell me “something else must be wrong with you if you’re still sick and I should talk to my new doctor about it”.... Is he serious??? He was a very polite over all but on my last “check out” appointment since I am moving states and going to a new dr, he made me feel like I’m making up the fact that I’m still nauseous and need 4MG zofran in the morning and evening time.... pretty rude to leave me by telling me something else must be wrong cause pregnancy shouldn’t cause nausea and vomiting still?!?! It absolutely is the reason why. I’m only 20 weeks. Makes me think he never once listened when he asked about my previous pregnancy and I told him I was very very sick the entire time and on an even higher dosage of zofran and STILL was vomiting every hour. The 3 years I was not pregnant, I was not… sick. I’m not sure why he thinks something else must be wrong with me.

I love Dr. Lobaugh, I am a patient of his know 29 weeks pregnant, looking for a new doctor. New in the area, Military. In need of a new Doctor fast. The staff is the worse. His wife is Ghetto, and Rude, he has new staff, his old nurse was the nicest and she cared about the patients, she hasn't been there in a few weeks, found out she is no longer there. The new Nurse is RUDE and not Nice......HELP!!!

Will not go to this doctor again,him and his wife just like to take money away from the patients, They really don't care about patients health... If you don't pay you don't get seen...

I was in pain for 4 years and went to 7 doctors. No one was willing to surgically look at my ailment but Dr. Lobaugh understood the root cause of my discomfort and brought resolve within weeks where so many others had failed!

Went to Dr. Lobaugh because of all the great reviews and was greatly disappointed. I sat in the waiting room for well over an hour just to be called back for the Triage. Total appointment time was 2 1/2 hours. Will not be going back!

Great bedside manner and really made me feel at ease during a rough pregnancy. Had several complications, one of them being a severe case of hyperemesis, and he never made me feel like I was making it up or exaggerating. He worked with us until we were safe to deliver, even calling in other specialists. Our daughter was born early but healthy and she remains a very healthy girl, and we have him to thank!

Dr. Lobough is a really great and caring doctor. He will take his time and make sure you understand his answer. You can ask him anything. You can call him at any time, I woke up at 3am and thought that my water broke and he answered my call. He said he was glad I called. He wants to know what is going on with his patients. Very good doctor to have.
