Dr. Mark Jay Lovell, MD

We have seen Dr. Lovell since my daughter was around 7 months old and had been happy with him. This last visit we had with him, my daughter was diagnosed with strep and RSV. The exam room we were in was right by the nurses station and when both the test results came back positive, Dr. Lovell and his staff laughed at the fact she had both. I am extremely disappointed in this behavior and lack of professionalism.

He is great with my children.

Fast, friendly, and caring! When my son was sent to children's hospital he continued to call and check up on him even on his time. I could of ask for a better dr for my kids.

Dr Lovell is one of the best! He always listens, interacts well with parent and child and is very knowledgable. I would not hesitate to use him in any situation. He is very caring and wants to do the very best for the children he sees.

Dr. Lovell is just so-so in my opinion. He was VERY pushy as far as vaccines go, even though I had explained to him my concerns. (We have a family history of severe vaccination reactions.) He basically told me that by not vaccinating my children, I was neglecting them. Also, he never seemed to know my kids from one visit to the next. And he was our main pediatrician for over a year. If my child was in dire need of a doctor, I would take them to him, but not unless others were unavailable.

Not a good doc if you do not have a well child. I have a baby with protein allergies and baby was seeing Dr Lovell. He did not remember us from one visit to the next. I had to tell him that I suspected an allergy after researching babies symptoms. I don't think he fully believed me. He never ordered any tests. I took her to him several times in the first weeks of her life with different issues that pointed to the allergy and he did not catch on. Felt like cattle. In and out. Time is of their main concern not children.

I love taking my daughter to Dr Lovell! I've been to other pediatricians & he is by far our favorite. So glad we found him so he can be our regular doctor! Never had any problems with his staff.

Dr. Lovell is very personable and thorough. You immediately feel comfortable with him as he has a charismatic personality. You can feel his passion for children. I would highly recommend him as a pediatric doctor for anyone.

He is a great doctor. He is amazing with our son, jokes with him and interacts with him. He also treats the parents like you are his friend.
