I had been going to Dr. Mark Luba for several years for my annual checkups. Shortly after I turned 65 is when I started feeling poorly. I check my symtoms on line and realized it was probably diabetes. When I met with Dr Luba he said I had a high A1c of 13.2, and said I was type 2 diabetic. The medication he prescibe was not sufficient. I then when to a specialist, who said I was Type 1 and got me on insultion right away. I am feeling great now. Dr Luba just misdiagnosed my condition completely. I had a elevated A1c for several years prior to finding it to be 13.2. I am now back to normal levels.
