Summary
Mark Mammel joined the staff at Children's Hospital in 1982, after completing his MD, Pediatric Residency, and Neonatology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. co-directing the NICU, he also heads the Infant Diagnostic and Research Center at Children's, is the co-director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship training program at the University of Minnesota, and is a Professor of Pediatrics. He continues as an active researcher in lung problems of babies, and ways to better treat them. Also, teaching medical students, residents, and neonatal fellow has always been an important part of his clinical practice. He is married and has 3 boys, all over 18, and 2 dogs.
