Dr. Mark L. Manwaring, MD

I went to Dr. Manwaring with a rectal prolapse 1 year ago. He was very kind and informative at the beginning. I did not do my research as I usually do because I was in so much pain. Following the surgery I was told I would have to take A laxative for the rest of my life with no other options. Within one month I was in more pain than ever and could not use the bathroom. They told me to see a gastroenterologist. I did that and have spent thousands of dollars following the surgery trying to find the problem. When I went back to see him, he made me feel horrible about myself and told me to keep taking the laxatives every day sometimes more than once a day. I ended up so sick I could barely get out of the bed. My body was literally screaming at me. I felt like the laxatives were coming out of my throat I was so backed up. My throat was closing up my stomach was so bloated I could barely move. Thank God above for holistic doctors who told me to immediately stop taking the laxatives and… gave me natural alternatives. After a few days of doing what the holistic doctor said I was going to the bathroom for the first time in almost a year. I do not recommend him or his practice to anyone as his nurses are not to kind or compassionate either.

Dr. Manwaring is a very well educated dr. I tusted him with my life. he was very upfront about my care told me what I should expect after my surgery. He kept me updated each morning while I was in the hospital on what they planed for that day. I would defiantly refer my family and friends to dr. Manwaring. He is pleasant to speak with, listen to my concerns and also the concerns of my family members. He kept them up to date during and after my surgery. thank you dr. Manwaring you are the best dr.

He is wonderful. He has performed two intestinal surgeries on my husband. Very intelligent and also has a great bedside manner. Also lets you know your options ahead of time so you will know what to expect before going into surgery.
