Dr. Mark C Margiotta, DPM

Dr. Mark Margiotta DPM, FACFAS is well trained to treat the most complex conditions of the foot and ankle. Dr. Margiotta expertly treats conditions of the adult and pediatric foot and ankle. He places outstanding patient care and compassion as his top priorities, and is a strong proponent of evidence-based medicine. Dr. Margiotta is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has served in multiple leadership roles within the certifying organizations. Dr. Margiotta received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi and attended medical school achieving a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He completed clinical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, and the Audie Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Margiotta went on to Fort Sam Houston in San …Antonio to complete the Basic Officer Leadership Course for the U.S. Army Medical Corp. Dr. Margiotta was then commissioned in the Army as the rank of Captain and then completed residency training in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
