Dr. Mark L Mascari, DO

Dr Mascari is a no nonsense care giver who is very empathetic and listens to your complaints. He doesn't bull dose you with unnecessary medication. He will explain your treatment and ask you of your expectations to better prescribe the appropriate regimen. By far one of my best providers and I am a retired RN. We need more providers like Dr Mascari.

Dr Mascari and his staff are very professional and kind

I have been a patient of Dr. Mascari for over 20 years. He has always been very responsive to my needs and the needs of my children.

Dr. Mark treated my son as part of the Suboxone program. After several failed rehab attempts and multiple counselors, Dr. Mark and his very direct approach is exactly what my son needed. If you are looking to be coddled, this is not the place for you. If you want straight talk and real world solutions, I highly recommend. I've seen several posts about him being "in a hurry" and we have never felt that in 3 yrs. His approach is no b.s., no fluff and bottom line - so that may come across as rushed but he has always taken the time to answer every question we had. Facility could use a facelift but my son is not a patient for the aesthetics. Staff has always been helpful.

Incompetent doctor

My experience was not positive. The office was outdated and I felt rushed during my appointment. He seemed like he was in a hurry during the exam and didn't make eye contact with me when I was speaking to him.

I enjoyed my visit. The wait time was minimal. Dr. Mascari was attentive and direct. All of the staff was friendly. Not like some other offices where the staff feels like you are taking them away from something more important than what they are currently doing.

Doctor Mascari himself wasn't bad, he just seemed in a hurry to get on to whatever he needed to do next. He diagnosed me incorrectly, though I supposed a pinched nerve can look like a pulled muscle with no actual testing? I did however have a bad reaction to the meds he prescribed, which led to having to deal with his awful receptionist, a woman who apparently decides if patient side effects are real or not. She told me that my side effects-- nausea and migraine-- were imagined and I was just a druggie looking to get something stronger, but she wouldn't have anyone prescribe them and no I could not speak with the doctor. I'll never go back after dealing with her.
