Dr. Mark A McVay, DO

i have seen reviews bad mouthing dr mark and i have a feeling these people have deeper issues.if you think you are going to b.s him,lie etc it wont work if you need help and honest with him he will help you.he has literally saved my life.he is very down to earth not your typical doctor.i appreciate all he has done for me

Very inconsiderate , never answers the phone always a answering machine, they screen the calls, takes forever to get an answer from him or his receptionist, waits until your in withdrawal before calling in your prescription, lies, receptionist never gives him msgs so he thinks your a liar and then kicks you out of the program and i have proof of all the times i tried calling for appointments but that didn't matter, i now sit un a very vad withdrawal because of his lies, i have facts to back this up, do not go to him, find another even if it's a further drive, i was seeing him for over 5 years and this is how i was treated, he never followed up on any tests ir xrays HE ordered

I have been seeing dr. McVay for several years he has always been very flexible with me...He helped me save my career and ultimately save my life without a doubt.. He has for the most part always been there for me..This program has worked for me...

Filthy office.Smells like cigarettes

The ten minute office wait was while Dr. McVay and his nurse/receptionist finished their cigarettes in the back room.This has been confirmed by employees of the dentist office that shares a wall between the two businesses.Vulger language is also common in Dr McVay's by male and female employees

This doctor I have seen twice. The first visit was only 10 minutes that he spent with me. The foul language and his bad attitude will not be tolerated by myself again. He sent me on my way with a rx for a med that is more addicting than what I'm trying to fight. He discourages me and my attempt at getting better as fast as I can. I see this as about the all mighty dollar. He is a horrible dr. If you want to get well, avoid him. He is terrible and a nasty human being. Of course he is prompt on his appt times, he can fit more patients in!

WAS VERY RUDE, IS NOT SYMPATHETIC AND CONSTANTLY USES FOUL LANGUAGE. I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER BE SEEING THIS DR. AGAIN

Been seeing Doc for quite a few years now. He is an excellent doctor and always there for me if i need it.

I had a recent hospital stay and was given oxycodone.I went to my family doctor who insisted that oxycodone is not an opiate.I tried to argue with him about the oxycodone and he wrote it on the prescription with blood pressure medicine.I then saw Dr. Mcvay and was prescribed Suboxone/short office visit.I sent someone to pick up the suboxone on 11/4 and flags flew up.I don't know who to believe or trust.All of the hospital staff/dr's and family doctor know I am trying to stay away from opiates.I haven't taken suboxone for 7 days and did not touch the oxycodone.I remain in major pain with my back and left knee but the cavemen didn't have medicine so why bother.I was not hiding anything from the addiction specialist,the dr's have me in a tail spin not knowing what is what.
